Had they written it for Series 6 I think that they would have used Old Slow Coach and with this being the first time that Duck would have met her, he would refuse to take her as a place for the children seeing how she's Great Western but she'd insist on taking the children seeing how she's doing nothing.

Fantastic job👍👍 such a shame that Pip and Emma were never featured in the TV series or any kind of merchandise. I think they're some of the only RWS characters who never made it into the toy lines. Maybe they were too long or to complicated to produce? Someone like Neil or the Culdee Fell Engines were probably much easier to do as they were small engines, instead of a full high speed set

That was a very clever adaptation of 'Smokescreen' and 'Fire Escape'. I love how you combined the two episodes to make this masterpiece 😀👏.

I like how you deviated from the illustrations from the book where it was his boiler that was red and not his tender. It makes more sense to have that under coat on his tender as well as his boiler instead of just his boiler.

This is perhaps one of the most clever ways to adapt a Railway Series story into a TVS format, bravo!

I felt sorry for the Big Express Engine.

Brilliant S6-styled adaptation! This is much better than the actual episode (w/o Hannah, any fantasy scene nor even high-pitched voices from Tim Whitnall in one of his characters). Plus Duck was never given any episode in S6-7, so that could've easily been what they should come up with. I can also see Dexter work as a Classic Series character too!

I've always wanted someone to combine these two😊. I'm honstley surpassed it took this long.

While I think this could also work as a S3 episode, but it also fits well in Series 4 (not to mention merging these two stories to form one narrative is superb!). Even the editing is great too!

Never would have thought of combining all three of the other stories in the book into one episode, but it works surprisingly well!
