How to change engine oil and filter 1993-1997 Dodge Intrepid 3.3
I have the 2wd 2006 f-150 and I have the same issue. I’m worried my truck is gonna lemon out. If you figured it out please let me know
Hey . It was a simple fix .. the belt was changed to bypass the ac and was a little tiny bit to big so wasn’t spinning the alternator fast enough got a new belt charging great now
i got a red in like that really good bike
I bought my 2006 in 2012 and only have 175605 miles on it and no dents or rust. Still burns rubber if so inclined.
I have a 2001 pontiac sunfire, paid $300 bucks for the car 5 years ago with 104,000 miles on it and now it has just under 150,000 miles on it, still runs great and is still very reliable, I'm gonna drive that car until it dies Lol
we had one of these - not bad, but the lack of a sliding door on the left side was a total pain - very difficult to load people and things - otherwise quite satisfactory
Agrees 4 small kids and they all have to go to that side
Those trucks still sell for a decent amount of money.
That truck needs to be saved at all cost
80s truck

@@jacobhogan509 Where are you from?
Nice van👍
Nice car, man👍
Where are you from?
I want that acclaim❤
Me too
👍😎
Thank you for telling us it takes a 13mm socket to take out the plug. now i don't have to take a lot of tools with me when i get under the car. .
Fix it up. They don't make trucks like these anymore and pretty soon all they'll make is ev trucks....
Very strange. Mine 2010 in NYC - no any rust at all
Sounds like a timing belt broke which is okay non interference engine
Yes , just replace the belt , water pump, and tensioner, and you're back on the road.
I seriously want that car please save it and protect it! Every LH anybody can save is great!😊
That looks like a 95 that is a beautiful car too bad for it to be sitting
I have an 06 I have completly rebuilt the suspension and brakes...coolant system ...ignition system...they say its bullet proof because the block is iron...Now mine has just under 140000...mine is the supercharged version...so far mine has never not started and never left me stranded...I think its one thease cars thats best for someone to have that can do most of the work at work at home. I traded a custom built Gamming pc for mine...The lower manifold gasket is supposed to be the weakest part of the engine...and the transmission is the weakest part of the car. Or so Ive read. Right now im trying to see what the undercarrage is supposed to look like because it has no rocker panels left.
That's a beautiful sound
I would keep the sticker on the doors. Nice look. I say keep it you added SOOOOO.much to it. Keep it going.
Still going strong 211,000 on the odo
احمد❤❤
Dont forget to pull the trunk and door seals off and spray silicone spray underneath them
Never seen one of those cars before
I have a 1995 dodge caravan with 131k miles but my underside is very rusty so I'm hoping to find another one to replace it with one day. It's my daily driver too. Transmission burns fluid, occasionally I get air in the power steering system and I'm getting about 15 miles per gallon. Gonna get new spark plugs soon. I recently got new front tires and a new engine air filter
Cool man. U should do a review and a test drive if u can. Because I’m A big fan of those
buy manual 2nd gen 2.5
@@TullmoreDew cool.
What kind of motor in the Ford F-150 i have a 99 Ford F-150 with the 5.4
4.6
This cars are the worst like none stop maintenance I would rather have a cavalier pontiacs are the worst to have they just give ppl problems everything in this car gives u problems
Not going to argue …. Ppl harp on Chrysler products. But in the last 10 years I’ve had way more luck with mopars .. bought a 97 intrepid and a 97 bonneville only couple years apart blew head gasket in the bonneville and spun bearing at 179,000km …. Still using the intrepid over 280k all original
This engine is really good ppl have over 300 k on them
That's so sad to see that rotting away
Yep . Was definitely a cool car when it was in its prime
@@jacobhogan509 well big Mopar lover here I think anything Chrysler was a pretty cool car back in their prime!
dont rev your engine with cold engine
Was running before hand
This channel is amazing I’ll subscribe
My mother had the 99 Plymouth van and I miss it still
It’s a good van !
Thanknyou, love this generation, Merry Christmas!
How much I have a 1995 Plymouth Acclaim got mine with 9,520 actual miles paid 250.00 Mine has 10,150.1 miles now. Mine has Automatic PS/PB A/C Tilt Cruise Am?FM cassette/Cd combo rear defrost 2.5L Slant 4. Mine sat for 12 years. I went though it replaced all gaskets fluids my self belts hoses plugs wires cap roter valve covers and gaskets Upper and Lower Intake gaskets and I did head gaskets. all parts at NAPA including fluids cost was 400.00. I did all the work my self in 5.5 hours. If this has the V-6 that would be the incorrect engine it should have the crappy A704 Ultra-drive 4 speed automatic came with all V-6 models from 1991-1995. The Torque-Flite 3 speed came with the 2.2 slant 4(1989-1991) 2.5 N/A(1989-1995) and Turbo I (1989-1992) Turbo II (1991-1992 R/T only) 3.0L Mitsbushbi V-6(1989-1995) which these 3.0L do not tolerate poor oil changes and maintenance or you will start blowing blue smoke around 80,000 to 100,000 due to bad valve guides. This was due to poor oil change intervals change every 2500-3000 especially in this engine unless you want to due valve guides and smoke out yor whole neighborhood in the summer. I had a 1993 Dynasty that did that same engine and the bugs would drop dead.
I’ve currently got a 1998 2.2L sedan, and it’s great, I’m about to hit 300000km on it, that 2.2L 4 cyl sure is indestructible. I’m considering getting used a 1997 2.4L convertible with only 120000km on it, tell me, is the 2.4L any good or should I stick with the 2.2L sunfires.
Some say they are no good . I don’t agree . If you get it just find out if the water pump job has bin done
@@jacobhogan509 thanks, I will do that.
Chrysler Neon? I have NEVER heard of that and now Im curious lol *runs to google*
Could be a canadien thing . Think the dodge versions here are a sx2.0 or something
My 07 Ford fusion is at 280k, she will hit 300k hopefully
I love them acclaims!
Me too!
I bought a 2004 Dodge neon SXT in 2010 it never left me stranded I bought it with 16,000 original miles on it when I junked it it would have 250 mi That was the best car I ever owned besides my intrepids! I miss my Neon
You're filming skills are as crappy as this car
Must be worth a million dollars now!!
That's one fine Plymouth Acclaim, in almost new condition. I bought a used 1993 Acclaim in 2005, and when I got rid of it in 2012 it was quite rusty but still ran reasonably well. It had 328,000 Km on the clock. This was one very reliable model of car, good value for the money.
Family had a 1991 Acclaim for seven years, racked up a lot of clicks, intake manifold gasket eventually killed the motor. That and rust.
Did it have the 3.0 or the 2.2 ?
@@jacobhogan509 2.5 litre
This is not really a review just saying I watched for no reason lol
I was just going to say got that cancer juice all over it! I wish they would come up with something different That stuff is so toxic
Basically if you drive your vehicle in the winter months anywhere they salt the road it’s done . Oil based undercoatings is the only hope
tough... mine is almost the same but i rust proof it, so underneath isn't bad just the right side rear wheel has a rust hole extending... gotta fix it soon
These cars are pretty solid Just need to keep up with maintenance
Which engine is in there?
3.0
Love these minivans . Have 2 European Voaygers 2nd gen, 2,5 L gasoline
Nice. I was given a 1999 Caravan because the owners were told that it needed the transmission replaced. I just replaced the filter and fluid and drove it home one hundred miles. We've had it for 3years and the transmission is still working. I have replaced the filter and fluid a couple of times. It's our second or utility vehicle and it has the 3.3 engine in it. Happy Motoring.
