We demonstrate how to insert a new variable into an existing data file wherever you wish to have this new variable appear. For instance, suppose that between variables X and Y, you would like to insert variable Z. We demonstrate how to do this.

Understanding the Variance and Standard Deviation

This video is best viewed at 720 HD resolution, and even expanded on a large screen should appear crystal clear. At lower resolutions such as 360p or 480p, it is still viewable, though not as clear. UNDERSTANDING THE VARIANCE AND STANDARD DEVIATION: A brief lecture on the conceptual development of two very common measures of dispersion, the variance and standard deviation. We use a very small d...

Thank you so much! I really thought I did something wrong when I saw all 0's as leaf values.

How do insert like a 100 defined variables in the middle of say a 4000 variable long data set? I basically took a few variables from another dataset and by creating new variables in the bottom of the new dataset where able to quickly create identical variables. Now if they were going to the top that would quickly be resolved, but it takes forever to move variables just a few 100 places so I have to create 100 variables 1 at a time which also takes forever or move them. Either way I'm screwed.

Great Video ! But I believe there's one correction: Starting at 18.10 of the video: "95% of Samples drawn from this population, this interval will capture the true population mean" Whereas the correct interpretation should be: ""95% of Samples drawn from this population, this interval will capture the mean difference between True Population Mean & Sample Mean"
