Our collection of family adventures throughout the years. I’ve been videoing our travels and hobbies since mini SVHS was a thing and finally got round to cobbling some videos together for posterity on RUclips, to make them easier to view, aswell as share with family and friends. Subscribe if you like for free, and hope you enjoy seemingly random new additions featuring holidays and weekends away with car clubs and the great British canals. 2024 will see me delving into the archives again and anything else we get upto.

Four Counties Ring by narrowboat - 2017
Our 2017 family narrowboat holiday in August that year. Hiring a boat from ABC at Wrenbury Mill, we completed the entire Four Counties ring (anti-clockwise) and the Caldon Canal in just 2 weeks.

Boating to Crick Show and back - 2023

Winning free tickets to the 2023 Crick Show was an opportunity to go by boat this time, and to take in the Hatton Lock Flight on the way back via Birmingham. A lot of footage of the show itself sadly was unusable due to operator error... (don't... I know!), but the journey there and back in glorious sunshine turned out to be the only proper sunshine we got in 2023, so for that, we are grateful....

Our 2016 Scotland Tour by Motorhome. Starting at Loch Lomond we camp our way clockwise around the north coast, exploring scenery that rivals destinations we've visited abroad. We visit The Kelpies by bike and take a boat ride on The Falkirk Wheel, get shot at near Dingwall and enjoy Highland cows playing balloon. Enjoy!

Members of the Pilgrim kit car club set off in June '93 to take in Stelvio Pass as part of a 2 week European driving and camping holiday, armed with CB radios to keep us all together. In November 1999 we planned a special weeklong trip to Las Vegas. With just 3 weeks notice The Little Church of the West was booked as well as a Champagne lunch by Helicopter at the floor of The Grand Canyon. This video follows that week as a lasting visual memory. Join us. Filmed in PAL SD MiniDV and NTSC VHS and converted to MP4, hence the quality of the time.

Nice one.Me and my mates were over in Florida at the same time doing a flydrive holiday plus a shuttle launch at The Cape.
Final version of our week in Vegas is now done. At 2x 55 mins long, we’ll keep that for ourselves. A shorter cut at just over an hour will be ready to share shortly.

Thanks for the comments Rodney. We were only really capturing this for our memories, hence the limited narrative. I appreciate for others viewing they’d like more details on locations, plans, thoughts, etc. but I glad you liked what was shown so far. Not so comfortable with pieces to camera just yet and voiceovers add to the complexity of putting the vids together and are so tume consuming, but points taken on board. Many thanks.

Thanks Joao, I didn’t need to replace the rear pads before I sold the Mini, so sadly no video for that I’m afraid.

Which model of Go pro are you using Sean? I have an old Hero 4 that i use occassionaly. but am considering the DJI OSMO action camera or Go pro max because of the 'selfie screens' which are kind of essential for the way i shoot my films.
Hero7 Black John. Quite versatile and great once you’ve mastered the iphone software to control it. The quik editing is good for a fast turnaround but faffy to correct duff edits. Overall pleased with it though as an add on to kit.

Nice work man, help me a lot. Just a simple question: is it necessary to replace the wear sensor each time I replacing the pads? Can they be reuse?
If it’s not got down to the sensor yet, I’d reuse it, just carefully prise out and reuse in new pads. All the best.
