I was on the USS Ranger CV-61 Aircraft Carrier off the coast of Iran when they had our hostages. We rotated duty with the USS Midway. Two days after President Ronald Reagan was inaugurated and after 400 plus days of toying with Jimmy Carter, the Iranians shit their pants and let our people go.
