It is called "Ntulgeri Ntulgeraki" meaning "Carpenter, little carpenter" also known as "Stis Thessalonikis to Tsarsi" meaning "At the market of Thessaloniki". These are Thracian Greeks from Evros (on the border with Turkey and Bulgaria)

I am happy that you like it, but the people on the video define themselves as greek and are more or less from the region called Thraki in the norteast of Greece. The only greek Makedonian, if you like labels, there was myself shooting the video. There are of course great gaida players in Northern Macedonia, too. Pece Atanasovski just to mention one. So Bravo to your musical heritage, too.

I have some nolige in folk music. My grand mather and grand father are from Drama vilage Zrnovo Nevropski region. Rytam and melody is Makedonski.Thay use gayda and gusla also in playing music.I see thouse instruments in youre video. You dont have this music south from Olimp.that is the fact.

@@zorandzolev666 My dear friend, you are right. There in no such music south of Olymp. This music has been common for all people around the the Rhodope Mountains. Common means that people have been playing these instruments and these songs for centuries. Thera are many people playing and enjoying the gaida in Greece because something inside them tells them to do so. We learned the bagpipe from the older generation. We don't have music schools where we can learn the instruments. It is a part of our culture, too. Your country's music is amazing, but there are differences. Don't be selfish, the gaida doesn't belong to anyone, it is universal, so are the songs. Have you any video playing the gaida? It would be nice to play together one day.
