To be fair, I didn’t lose interest in it but time considerations were an issue.. I got her stripped down and realised how bad the engine was (due to previous owner having taken it for MOT with no engine oil, resulting in the big end failure 😢 Stripped down, put the parts away carefully and then the pub (Old Crown at Shardlow) promptly flooded… 5 feet of water through the cellar, food storage and my workshop, not to mention having to get the RSPCA to come and take our chicken flock of around 40 birds into their hands until the flood subsided. Sincerely wish I’d never parted with the bike, especially seeing how prestigious they are these days but I’m glad it stayed in your family and you’re enjoying it 😊

I know it's a long shot but even though you've said that the bike is a 1980 that doesn't mean that it was registered in 1980 and I'm looking for a bike that was built in 1980 but not registered until much later in 1985. Does your bike have a 1980 reg or is it a later reg? Great videos by the way, keep them coming. Cheers.

My 250LC used to kick after the elbow , just by the Pit In armco, but was so predictable, it wasn't a problem, though mine was highly tuned.

This was indeed the 1st time out on this and my 1st ride on this bike, lovely nimble ride impressed me :-D will post a new one as I get used to it and fit some decent tyres :-D as has old avon storms on it :-O

Shame the roads were a bit wet n greasy in places along the amount of cow sh**7e
