If you are unaware of the Backbit cartridge it is a fantastic cartridge for those who have multiple old hardware system. Check it out if you have multiple old computers or consoles. Here I show beamrider, ladybug and shark shark.

Here is some sample gameplay using an Intellivision II, a backbit multicart and and an intellivision controller similar to the original but with a horizontal orientation called the longplay controller. The multicart backbit has interchangeable connector so it can be used across many, many vintage consoles and computers (one cart for many systems).

This is gameplay of the excellent version of the Atari 2600's Beamrider game. Graphics are minimized to some extend from other versions but this version plays as well as the many other variations.

I enjoy playing my Atari Jr. connected to a big screen TV in my basement exercise room while doing the treadmill. I also enjoy playing in my office on the wall mounted medium sized TV..... But.... What if I wanted to do it at the breakfast counter or the dining room table or on my deck? something will have to be done!!!

Here is an example of an alternative controller for use on the Evercade VS. The controller is a 90's Gravis Gamepad Pro for Mac with very similar control buttons and dpad but the dpad has a thumb stick attachment which I think gives better movement control. This controller latch the Evercade controller menu button which has been remapped to the lower right bumper button via the Evercade mapping...
