A visit to the Alpaca Loom in South Africa
We visited the Alpaca Loom near Paarl, South Africa. We started with a light lunch in their restaurant and a browse through their shop. I bought a pair of hand warmers made from super soft alpaca wool. We also bought some cute magnets for friends.
We booked the alpaca tour and walk and bought animal feed. Then we spent some time in the petting zoo area feeding the alpacas and goats. There are also some llamas, horses, a donkey and even a couple of camels.
The tour was very interesting. It was about an hour long. Our guide taught us so many interesting facts about alpacas and was able to answer all our questions. We got to visit the baby alpacas in the barn. Our guide then prepared an alpaca...
