I just got informed that I am now the Drill Team Squadron Commander in A.F.J.R.O.T.C. for the school year of 2024-2025 and we have a Drill Cometition lined up in September and videos like this do indeed help me mentally prepare for what I as the Commander will need to prepare for this comp. ❤❤😮

I just started highschool as a freshman and a private and my first Sargent wants me to lead a small squad in drill as someone who has never done anything like it I hope to make him proud

I know this video was a long time ago, but I'm a let 1 at my school doing drill and i have some questions. Can you tell me what she says when she reports and can the "platoon halt" be called on any foot or only the left foot? and why does she pivot on the second column half left but not the first?

I just graduated high school this year and I already miss JROTC. I was the highest ranked female My Senior year. Doing Sabre for graduations was great and all but it brought tears to my eyes when they did my graduation walk-in and walkout. I liked drill very much.

It always send shiver down my spine when every thing id in sync and sound like only or 2 people walking but it a whole platoon walking

I did army JROTC almost 24yrs ago... Was drill team commander my senior year but my freshman year we won 1st place trophy at lenape hs with me as platoon leader (not for them; we beat them 😝) I had never been so scared but we were so sharp and crisp! I was so proud of my friends and myself. In Jersey, Camden HS and Irvington HS used to dominate but for those 4yrs I was there we was trouble... I'm so proud of these kids looking extra sharp with this. A little hesitant but you can tell that's just nerve... And mostly girls... Y'ALL BETTER GET IT! 🥰

So, are both rifles supposed to be on the right arm, and not wait for the command "Ready, CUT" after carry colors? Like, I'm training to be on a competition color guard for my NJROTC unit in Area 8, and I'm looking at the differences between AJROTC and NJROTC color guards and there are a decent bit
