We're so glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful
How can I get this arrangement?
So that more people can be reduced to blubbering messes (see below), here are the lyrics: About a thousand years ago, when I was very young, My hair burned like the sea beneath an ever-rising sun; My blood ran thick with promise, I was tender to the bone; But now I’m Evangeline, made of stone. This is your one and only life. What will you do? Now the meteors of August, they fly all through my hair. The day will come when I will rise to find my eye less fair; And this body scorched by beauty, and these hands I left unplayed -- What was I waiting for, afraid? This is your one and only life. What will you do? You can dream, you can imagine, you can simply hope and pray, You can save yourself for glory, you can wait til judgement day, You can hold out til you stand a breath away from heaven’s gate; Your day of redemption will come -- too late. This is your one and only life. What will you do? This is your wild -- your precious -- your one and only life. What will you do? ©1996 Susan Crowe (SOCAN)
Who knows what the name of that one song that phonetically sounds like “ce la belissima” I’ve been struggling ALL MF DAY
this is absolutely gorgeous
очень красиво
Si me quieres, quiéreme entera, no por zonas de luz o sombra… Si me quieres, quiéreme negra y blanca. Y gris, y verde, y rubia, y morena… Quiéreme día, quiéreme noche… ¡Y madrugada en la ventana abierta! Si me quieres, no me recortes: ¡Quiéreme toda… O no me quieras! ❤
Beautiful

"oh my dear, Elektra is here" and "here I am" (by Steve Vai) Your brand new subscriber follower. You ma'am are adorable
it’s time for tmea!! :)) I’m having a very difficult time deciding what voice part I should be. Should I be a soprano 1 or an alto 1/2? (Luckily) I have a range that fits all parts but I’m having much trouble deciding
whichever one you are MOST comfortable with, it's good you can do all but one out of the three is perfect for your natural voice!
@@phob3chan488 Ty! I would like to do soprano but they go extremely high especially in cum sancto spritu😬
@@lieaparisss08 well if u really wanna do soprano try to be a soprano 2 and see how you like it
the ranges are so much nicer than last year, that’s for sure. i too can fit all those parts, but i chose soprano 2 since i felt i could really express the music in a more full and enriching way and feel really comfortable, if that makes sense. plus, you get a cool title: mezzosoprano! i wish you best of luck on all of your auditions! :)
@@chaaaaaaaance Wish you the best of luck too!! 💗
tmea time! anyone have tips? i’m an incoming sophomore who didn’t make region last year bc i was sick and lack of prep. any tips from all staters? i really want to make region this year.
@lauren thank you so much!
Hey girl! Listen to the repertoire in your sleep! Practice consistently and seek help from your choir director. Be good to yourself and enjoy the process! :) What region are you? :)
practice practice practice!! i got cut after the third round but it was my first time. seek help from different people and have fun with it honestly. if you resent it you won’t make it far. best of luck!! 💖
My best advice TMEA all state music = New unpaid part time job + Do Camps!!!!!! ~Good luck Also we are gonna be in the same grade!!! 😊
Dynamics and diction will CARRY you through auditions, a lot of people will focus on the quality of their voice, granted, focus on that, that is what the judges are looking for but they're going to hear a lot of people sing note to note with no sense of musicality. Doing dynamics and consonants while singing will really impress the judges because it shows them that you really understand the sensitivity of the cuts of the pieces you sing. Dynamics example: cresendo/decresendo on a long note, focus on the dynamic markings. Emphasising the notes that need to be emphasised. Diction example: let's take the word "creation" (idk if it's an actual word in one of the all state pieces) When you sing the word "creation" you want to bring out the beginning consonant, think of the "c" in "creation" as a "k" - it ends up being "Kkreation" and at the end - since it ends on an "n" you want to add a "nih" at the end. So in the end, you would end up singing "kkkreationih" - also practice sightreading because you'll never know what nightmare will be on the sightreading 😭😭- speaking from a freshman all-stater Hope this helps!
very impressive
great choir love this
Lovely, was this done during the pandemic?
Beautiful 💗
It's true. Children's choir is different from Women's Choir and should be treated accordingly. Also, low voices in women's choirs can be explored more today because we have the vocal techniques to explore the low female range.
So catchy and heavenly! ❤️❤️You all performed wonderfully!!
1 Let all mortal flesh keep silence and with fear and trembling stand; ponder nothing earthly-minded, for with blessing in his hand Christ, our God, to earth descending, comes our homage to command. 2 King of kings, yet born of Mary, as of old on earth he stood, Lord of lords in human likeness, in the body and the blood he will give to all the faithful his own self for heav’nly food. 3 Rank on rank the host of heaven spreads its vanguard on the way as the Light from Light, descending from the realms of endless day, comes the pow’rs of hell to vanquish as the darkness clears away. 4 At his feet the six-winged seraph, cherubim with sleepless eye, veil their faces to the presence as with ceaseless voice they cry: “Alleluia, alleluia! Alleluia, Lord Most High!”
So lovely!
Beautiful!
