Buy a laptop with atleast 8gb of ram, the more the better. 16gb is really great. Talk to a worker in the store, they will know what's best for you, be suspicious if they recommend you a really expensive laptop, they might be trying to scam you, for editing you don't need a super expensive laptop. Lenovo yogas are great because you can fold them! It becomes a tablet! I don't have one, but would love it. 14' inches is standard, a bigger screen is just too much. (personally I like 13 inches) -Do not buy anti-virus! Windows defender works just fine, if you're not downloading suspicious stuff or going to the dark Web, you should be fine. You can also get free anti-virus, no need to pay. Good luck! Edit: and no chromebooks! Windows is much better if you need to run programs!

Ok, I wouldn't buy a Lenovo, the charge ports have direct direct detect pin to EC processor chip circuit.

Do you game a lot? Or do you study a lot? Moreover the comments are basically asking the same question but in a different phrase, so to put it in mind I'd go for something that is to your liking for example this guy does a lot of gaming so in result he buys a gaming laptop or a desktop but we are talking about laptops so it's different, if you study a lot and do normal stuff like multitasking and studying but zero gaming then go for a student laptop that had enough random access memory (in short it means RAM but in granny terms it is just basically like a bus with temporary information to process like opening a window and when you don't need it it just disappears freeing up temporary storage). But what if you do a bit of all? well your best option is research it but another option is to just get answers from other people if you don't know, as for the "bit of all" I would say research some components and see if those are either close by performance and multitasking (I meant performance in normal terms not gaming, just performance as in it runs normally), if you did find one that is close or suitable then that would be great. I forgot what i have to say below so sorry if i missed out on information. Oh yeah just be careful with the budget as well since prices do go up overtime or go down if a new one comes out.

Honestly if you're just using it for normal everyday tasks and work like watching videos or typing stuff up it really doesn't matter, just pick the one you like, or one with a screen that looks nicer to you

Idk, it really depends. If you want to game, then i would really advise for you to get a computer with a graphic card. If your strictly laptop only, then u can get a laptop with a mobile gpu. If your using it for productivity purposes, i would look into to asus instead of lenovo. They have good zenbooks for this pricepoint

Thank you. Its nice to have some inspiration now I'm cooking 2 meals a day (I don't cook breakfast except at the weekends!) where before it was just 1. I tried the lamb keema and it was great, even my chilli phobic kids said it was 'tasty'.

For a vegetarian option, you can substitute the lamb with Quorn or other vegetarian mince.
