Usually my tactic using a DD with low torps damage is after i close enough and fire my torps, im just ram my DD and stick to the enemy ships (like a pirate that want to hijack the enemy ships xD) until my torps reloaded and can be fired again. But this tactic only works if the enemy ships have a gun (also a secondary) that located high in the hull. Also a ship that can torp you back or a cruiser that have a fast reloading gun wont work.

Wait until you are fighting against battle cruiser and late tier battleships ;)

For about 6 years of playing blitz, my favourite dd tactic is to snuggle up side and rub paint. I can shoot my guns at him and he can't hit me with mains. Only a couple secondaries. Then after he damage cons the fire and about 10 seconds I move forward to his off side, torp and come back around and rub paint again LoL😊

What kind of BB capt uses AP against a destroyer? You know those are over pens, they only do 10% of average damage. Meanwhile a HE will actually penetrate due to overmatch and can can one shot a destroyer.

dd in world of warship pc: sit in smoke and gunboat for 1min or keep unspotted whole game and torp ppl. meanwhile in mobile version : SHOTGUN SHOTGUN SHOTGUN(i didnt hate mobile version tho this is for fun)

You do that in wows pc and they send you to the port in 3 sec

The perpendicular attack is better since most BBs guns won't be able to keep up with your DD, you show less silhouette and can run away better.

cross enemy BB behind and torp from the other side. 1. Enemies main guns are on the wrong side. Especially when attacking BBs without rear turrets. 2. You have much more time to run while enemy BB has to turn his turrets.

My Italian ship loves this tactic :D

Playing tier 7 with 4 BB in my team and im one of them, then a DD get closer by hiding in the island and sink our cruiser infront of us so the 4 of us BB chase the sh*t out of him until we got in their spawn, he is kind enough to show us where is their CV

I hold DD tactic classes. That was one very lucky DD. Should have been dead. Check my channel for DD related videos...my favorite type to play

Japanese and British DDs with their Long Range Torpedoes: Remains 8km away from their Enemy and Release their Torpedoes.. These Playstyle often been seen on Soviet DD with very Short Range Torpedoes also American DDs falls on it but they had smokes

In reality one shot of main battery can kill all the crew and blow up the torps

Rushing a ship sounds good, but you need to pick which to just run into. Italians and Brits can mess you up real badly, and some cruisers are agile enough to dodge your salvo even if you throw the sea sausages of death at close range. You can rush other DDs, but only if they are Pan-Asian. Deep water torps cannot hit DDs.
