The only Super Bowl news I got before seeing this was from my ASL professor who told us how this year the ASL preformers were basically just introduced so people knew they were inclusive and then got zero(0) screen time. If you wanted to see them you had to go to a different site that was not openly promoted. Which is a huge shame bc I watched the guy who did the national anthem(Daniel Duran) and he slayed big time. (You can find all the performances on RUclips, even if you don’t know ASL they are still amazing to watch)

Daniel’s performance was outstanding, sadly no one got to see it on television. I cannot understand how in 2024, the networks completely blocked off the interpreter. They even made a special announcement that there was going to be a signer for the National Anthem. What a real bummer.

I like Shaheem's performance. They didn't show it live. The deaf community is upset at Shaheem right now but it really didn't change anything about last year's performance because she was great.

Shame on CBS. I missed ‘hearing’ the song in my language. I am deaf and feel cheated. Thanks for nothing, CBS!

I just watched the other two performers and I have to say out of the three he was the best. Nothing topped the young lady last year, she gave everything she had within and you could feel it. The other two this year was okay but comparing the three, this young man was the best.

I was watching on CBS and this would have been better for CBS didn't show the combination videos at all. Didn't even televised the sign language interpreters. We need to be included for we are people, too. ❤

I feel the super bowl should be about america. This felt dividing. but they can do whatever they like. But some of the people will just ignore it like me. I feel the only way to make everyone happy is if we do not restrict anything and let them do this. Maby one day they will realize its not very fitting but I feel as of right now it feels dividing if they made it about how all cultures are shown than maby it will give a diffrent tone. I see they are trying to say how far their people have come and okay but it just feels annoying imo.
