i can tell the difference between weirdcore dreamcore and traumacore and ik some people can get defensive about equating them but for me they are sort of the same because they serve the same purpose- letting me softly dissociate into myself in a way that is deeply healing in which i am in control and feel understood about feelings that have no place in any other context and which i can't explain and don't want to explain because they're about my own personal experiences that no one could ever understand.

I used to love being a kid. I miss it like fuck. Fucking hell. Where did the time go. Even if im concidered young right now. Why. Why… i used to go to my cousins house every 2 days and when they would visit from ottowa i would convincr my younger little cousin to come sleep at my house and in return we can make noodles. We wouldstay up lateplaying roblox games tycoons and simulators. We would run around playing tag and fun games. I would make minecraft servers with my older cousins and we would play for hours straight. I miss the old times. Times parents didn’t get in fights and were all happy with life, times when money and finances weren’t the biggest problem in life. Times when tests didnt feel like they mattered. Where has the time gone?…

This...gave me a weird feeling...

everything in this area seemed familiar, yet not familiar at all. everything was normal at first glance, yet at closer look, everything was wrong. distant, and strange, yet somehow fascinating. it’s eerie, it reminds me of an indoor playground i might have played in as a child, yet distorted, bringing forth a feeling of subtle oddness of uncanniness. it feels like a dream, as if i’m an observer of my own self. i cannot tell where i am. i feel like more than one thing is watching me, like multiple sets of eyes are on me. it feels like a blur of real and surreal, the familiar and uncanny. i feel as if i’m in labyrinth in my own mind. everything is turning and mixing and stirring and tirring. i feel a strange feeling. i want to leave, yet at the same time i’m compelled to explore this odd mixture of earth and dream. i decide to loft. shelf off from my feet, to examine what is before me. the setting is odd, the fluorescent light buzzing into my ear like a bee, casting a yellow tinge to the old playground before me. despite everything being somewhat real and palpable at the touch, a sort of dark filter is masking it’s true state. i decide to enter the play set before me, the darkness greeting me like an old friend. despite the unsettling feeling in my stomach, the urge to explore if much stronger. i plunge into darkness as i enter the tube to enter the old playground, a damp, musty smell floods my mind. the unsettling feeling in my stomach worsens, i now feel the urge to run, the only sense i can feel in this unnerving destination, a train that lead me here unwillingly. now that i think about it, i don’t know who i am.
