Suburban Havoc

Добавлен 24 июл 2013
Lots of homemade paracord bullwhip making and cracking, some guitar gear demos and reviews, some metal detecting, blowgun shooting, and a fair bit of noise and destruction overall.
The reason I started this channel is that, when I have a lot of free time, I tend to pick up lots of unusual hobbies; I picked up metal detecting, rope dart spinning, blowgun shooting, and bullwhip cracking just in the past year, so I figured I'd start making videos about it all. There's also the occasional destruction compilation to sum it all up, so I hope you enjoy.

Whqts thé difference to the BBE 882i?
Haha. I was listening real close like... what is that? That's funny.
What was it and how did you fix it?
Still don't know. It's some kind of tank or pipe that got covered up, maybe an old septic tank. It's not connected to anything. We're living with poverty finance at the moment and haven't gotten around to fixing it, but the plan is to fill it in and pave over it eventually.
A retired well maybe? I’m fearing this is what my property looks like… driveway is shifting BAD
Wonder if that can hold my glory stick? they should be together y'know
Sweet dart
how do you prevent the hollowbody guitar from having feedback on high gain settings like this?
Jump in what are you waiting for
Looks like you have a sinkhole forming.. Better think about moving.😅😊
Is that China down there? 😂
Might be a sink hole
Bro just saw his septic tank
is it just adding presence? oes it make your strings and attack feel different?
I definitely need one but 100 watt
50 watts tubes break up sooner and is tighter
@@teamskdm1 realized since I made this comment after playing a couple marshalls. Not for me. I prefer Boogies.
@@benpotter4905 check out the hermansson modded marshall and mesa circuits. best sounding amps on the planet. the high end is totally open and organic and forward and focused while the low end is beyond tight its straight up stiff. 10x tighter than the tightest amp you ever heard.
@@benpotter4905 even with boogies the 50w single rectifier is the tightest and most brutal one because of the 50w power section being tighter and breaking up earlier.
@@teamskdm1 true. I’ll most likely be getting a mark series. Already have a recto. Have a KSR Gemini and Omega Granophyre as well.
Hey, I've been looking around for one of these? Where did you get yours? And did you have to do much work to get it to be play able at all?
Pretty sure I found it on Facebook. Some guy selling a bunch of cheap guitars. If you're looking for something that's going to be playable in the traditional sense, I'd avoid these. It's made of some of the worst plywood I've ever seen, the neck joint's questionable, sharp fret ends everywhere, pretty sure it doesn't even have a truss rod. The nut was cheap plastic, poorly cut, and permanently bonded in place. I replaced it with a taller nut for slide playing. It's got a really horrible cheap trem bridge, which I just locked down rather than deal with. The electronics surprisingly all worked well when I got it, but I routed it for a bridge humbucker to cut down on noise. it's only really playable for slide.
I bought one of these several years ago for a granddaughter when she was 9 or 10. She did so well learning to play that I swapped with her for a full-size about 2 years ago. Now I have a fine travel guitar.
Hot damn yhey sound the same! 😂😂😂
For the life of me I can’t remember the name of the song your playing.. ???
She Talks to Angels by The Black Crowes.
Oh that amp fucks for keeps. Great paying.
thanks for the vid..i will get a set of bluesbuckers..
This is the literally the only video on RUclips that actually plays an example of the semi-hollow/hollow guitar feedback.. All over the internet people talk about it, but never play an example for reference. Thank you for this lol
? Is there anything that you can wrap the pickups with that would stop the feedback?
Yeah but I've got a Question...Throw a Beany weey can in the ground bout 5 inches... It'll pick that shit up to tho... Correct??
Me quedo con la Yamaha y la Yamaha APXT2 🙌🏻🙌🏻😃

How do ya like the demon, I mean the amp??
It's a beast. Don't think I'll ever need another amp.
@@suburbanhavoc4997 glad ti hear. I have a Yeti, was interested to hear what the Garg was about, but kept reading in the web that it was a bad clone of Fortin Meshuggah, with no low end, no meat, too much brightness. So I ended up searching for vids, and in here it honestly sounds very very good!

I just replaced my burstbucker 1 and 2 because of this. I had BB pros put in but it isn’t the same. You just convinced me to get the 2 wax potted like I should have done in the first place. I’m glad I found your video. Cheers!
This is the most underground studio that I ever see in my life

Nothing about the tone control knobs.
I'm aware, having addressed that in both the video and the video description.
Eww, why are you digging into the ground with your bare fingers? Please wear at least latex gloves.
Thank you
Nothing wrong with this. Sounds good and playing is fine. Thank you.
Thanks for the video, very helpful. I just ordered a JR2 . By the way, the tune you played sounds very nice and familiar What is it please? Its driving me mad lol
She Talks to Angels by the Black Crowes fudged into standard tuning. I think they play it in open E.
@@suburbanhavoc4997 Thank you for putting me out of my misery. Its a beautiful song.
What’s that riff you are playing ?
It's a really lazy, sloppy take on part of The 5:55 by Laurence Juber.
Suburban Havoc sweet thanks I donno him but I’m gonna check him out now. it’s a catchy riff
Do you know if you can take the trem bar off
New to whip cracking. I appreciate the video
Finally the real sound test that I wanted to see thanks brother
Great tones AND you played some Mastodon. I like this guy
Put the foam protector thing you get when you buy a pickup in the pickup cavity. You could also stuff a sock in their to stop the rattling.
too few amp demos emphasize how much air the amp is pushing
I would love to own a nice Gretsch, someday. Someday!
Brilliant. Today, I found sweeter music on this pick-up demo recommended to me by youtube, than the entirety of the crass, indulgent, undignified & profoundly stupid monkey-farting, unsuccessfully masquerading as music, that was the Grammys 2021. I don't say this very often (or at all), but good job, youtube!
I have one. Love it. What kind of strings are people playing on theirs? I've had a set of Earthwood light's. They have held up well and really sound nice. I tend to play hard at times and break strings, but not with these. Still, I'm always interested in trying something else.
Can I use strings for an acoustic guitar on a semi electric one?
You mean like an acoustic with a pickup? It should work either way, but depending on what kind of pickup is in it(Piezo, magnetic), it'll give you really different results. With magnetic pickups, I'd stick to electric strings. Piezo, the acoustic strings might sound better.
The are axe collectors out there some of those old hatchets and axe heads can be valuable. Not gold coin valuable but worth more than their scrap weight.
Have you ever heard of the packing tape on the f holes thing? I heard about it recently and wanted to know if it’s something to recommend
I'm going here this Saturday, wish me luck!!
how was it? going Friday
