If you want poster collections or binders then hills cards in the UK have them today at rrp, I got 2 ETBs from them this afternoon but those are sold out now. Argos will have them up on release day or the day after... next best place in UK for pokemon cards I think is B&M if you have one of them near you. Probably won't have on release day though

I sold my latios ACE 10 for £133, that card alone is worth more than all the comp they offered. Sad

prismatic evolutions releases on jan 17th and new products come out in march so thats why all the restock dates are there

It needs to be raw value + grading fees and postage. I would also offer something else for the inconvenience and to cover any changes in market price whilst hunting down replacements (not to mention peoples time, effort and the stress involved). Or, buy replacements and bill Ace. As much as I like Ace and Randolph's youtube content, it WAS their fault. Nobody asks to be robbed, but all these cards should have been in a proper safe, with access only available to Randolph and one other person. The insurance firm will dictate the initial compensation amounts, but nothing is stopping ace from sweetening the pot. I hope Ace bounce back from this, but only after making everything right with the victims of this theft.

Dude I’m with you. We only lost 5 cards. But my son loved them. We got about £70. I calculate loses of around £200 from the grading values. I know it’s not their fault. But my son was in bits and it made me quite angry. I got shot down on FB suggesting how upset we were. Great content

Ace wont have any control over what they can give you. Its likely that its the insurance company

They basically can skip.out on paying from 9s and 10s cause they weren't graded . Give you literally base value.. not what you want but it's best you'll get .. not their fault. Sucks man . Everyone lost here

So you sent raw cards and want to be compensated at graded 10 value? If the grading services included a live card update meaning step by step email update then yes you could maybe fight for a bigger claim. Because as of the moment of being graded and you being notified that makes the card not raw anymore because you have been designated a grade. Ex. 1. Cards arrived in facility 2. Cards currently being graded 3. Grading complete pikachu vmax Ace 10, pikachu ex ace 10 etc... 4. Cards stored to be delivered tomorrow morning. 5. Cards stolen 6. Refund payment sent Since they dont do that they have to give you the fair market value of raw cards because that is what you sent, raw cards. If the mail lost the cards after grading you could get a claim with the mailing service for full graded value. Now I have to wonder if an ace10 that was sent to get re-cased they would have to pay fair market for graded 10 right? Cuz it would be messed up to pay raw on those that is where I would get mad. Did they at least send enough to buy mint- near mint raws back? Refund the grading purchase w/shipping costs?

Yea I think the way they went about the compensation is fine. The cards you sent were raw, so you should be getting raw value for them. But, I feel like this is a lowball offer. All these cards other than the team rocket cards are modern, meaning nobody is gonna send them unless they're mint. So you should be given the nm value for each card. Celebi alone is half of what they offered. Charmader makes up close to the other half. They have left you short I think if you have your online receipts/proof of purchase, they should refund you the exact amount you paid. No questions asked. I get that ace are in trouble, but they are a multi million dollar company. If it means they lose everything, then so be it. Its unfortunate to say, but they need to make this right with their customers that trusted them

everyone saying these would be a 7 if graded... has never submitted. You ONLY grade cards you hope get a 10. No one sends a bulk submissions of 7s.

completely ignorant and moronic to expect value at a PSA10 for all of your cards. Buy the cards you lost back with the money you receive and try again. Simple as.

Dont grade wtih Ace Grading. It's so bad. I wouldnt grade with them ever again since this could happen again.

I think it would be very hard to pay you for what the card would've graded. Depends if you want the store credit if you want to grade again with ACE or try too again with other cards in your selection. Always worth calling and seeing how they got to this price point as the market can go up and down on cards i.e. 151 set

The only thing which could have possibly been done and this is only a suggestion, would be to get an average for all cards graded in the past twelve months then use that as the value. Fortunately I had only one card lost and only sent it as to me it looked in very good condition. I think we can agree that those of us who have been in the hobby a long time can tell if the card is a good one. In my case I’m going to have to now try and find a comparable card. It’s not really much hassle and pails into insignificance considering what has happened and the amount of work others are now going to have to do to get this company back on its feet.

ace grading are scammers this proves it garbage compensation is a joke. i think a group of people who got scammed by ACE need form a group and get lawyers and sue ACE for proper payout,

I find it crazy how they had a lack of security which led to the loss of cards and then they lowball customers with low reimbursement. Why would anyone use ace again after learning they aren’t paying customers back properly. It’s madness to me

This is why you use heavily insured collectors universe owned grading companies Psa/Dna or SGC, and maybe cgc is safe also at this poiny. Anything else is a gamble stick with the Big Three

Can't you just buy them raw with that compensation and resubmit? You'll end up with the value your talking about

I don’t know why people are expecting payouts equal to what they think they should get. The self entitlement is crazy. No company is going to pay you based on what you think you’re going to get for a grade or the value you put it at. You get the value for the card that you sent in. If a raw card is stolen why would they pay a PSA 10 price as compensation? 😂 Yes it’s a shitty situation for all involved but this kind of greed is what’s killing the hobby.

So if you send in a simple submission when you don’t tell them what cards you have sent, just the number. How will either party be able to prove what got sent and what got stolen if the cards had not been logged yet?

At the end of the day ace grading DO NOT know if your card would have been a 7 or 10 so they can only give you compensation of what you can buy the RAW card for. Which is what you sent them.

People can't ask for more than the compensation 😂 you know the risk if anything happens you agree to the submission which most likely cover this kind of situation so whatever the card is valued at that's all your getting, but really poor security system in place from ACE a company like that, the location should never be able to be broken into

I understand your frustration with the compensation value however this is all standard. They compensate you based on the value of what was lost not on what could have been. If Royal Mail lost your cards on the way to Ace, they’d pay what they were worth not what they could have been worth

Shocking amounts being offered. This is business in the end of the day its not got anything to to with Randy being a nice guy. Insurance will do everything in their power to pay the lowest amount possible.

Why exactly do you chose to grade with Ace? from what I've seen their sub-grading is dreadfully off plus you almost always get better value with PSA/BGS after the return. Also Randy initially said the banners would be comissioned artwork but ended up being AI generated which felt disengenious and put me off ever using them. If I was you I would never want to use this company again, getting it stolen in the mail is one thing but from their residence is very largely their fault, I'm sorry to say bud but imo you should be mad at Ace for not taking better care of YOUR valuables if they had better protection and precautions/security you all would not have had them stolen plain and simple Thieves will be thieves always they should have more in place to prevent them especially since they work with other people's collectables

i think i was one of the lucky ones with the ones i sent in was not stolen. totally feel sorry for everyone who had there cards stolen, I would dispute the prices they are given out. I will continue to grade with ace, It happens to company's all the time its just a total shame to the pokemon community

No business is going to pau for the potential that isnt known - what is known is the value of the raw cards - so you have to think of it this way - what would their insurance company say... they will pay only what they can prove the value is for each item. its a crap situation but the theives are the main ones to blame here - ACE are a great company and british company that we need to back

Sad this happened, not a bad company or their fault. I assume the low value just has to do with what their insurance company thinks it’s worth. Many card holders always think their cards will get the higher scores than it deserves so it could be the reason for the complaining of the price.

Fun fact, this Randolph guy isn't even a registered owner of ACE grading limited 🤫 Who's to say he didn't steal the cards, the building was secured with 24hr security, with a police station within a couple minutes walking distance. The culprit was already in the building, nobody broke in, this is a blatant inside job.

This is why I never grade with anyone other than the big 3, this is much more liable to happen at a smaller more indie grader

I recently got back 32 graded cards from ace luckily dodging this theft. Now every single card came back a 10,.. bc I dam made sure only the very best condition was sent. The cards included all sar 151, moonbreon, sylveon and leafeon from evolving skies, giratina, gengar fusion strike, lots of blackstar pc stamped promos, the list goes on. Imagine my cards got stolen and they offered me raw. Some cards I would be losing 5 times the value. But at a minimum I’d lose half the value. So instead of say receiving 5000 pounds of graded cards back you receive 2500 raw. I get many people just submit anything even with no chance of getting a gem mint but some people like me make sure cards are only sent if they are 90% chance of getting a 10. Ace will have a figure in what’s the % of each card getting a ten.. with this figure they can work out a % to pay out a figure based on the presumed amount of cards a submission would of got 10s in. For example if a moonbreon is a 70% chance statistically getting a gem mint 10 and you submitted 10 of them, well the 7 should be paid out at gem mint 10 value and 3 at raw. It is possible to do the maths as an average for multi cards with no multiples I just explained an easy example

From what Randy said in the video he uploaded to the Pokemon channel rather than the Ace channel the thieves targeted this specific portion of cards - of everything in the building they took those specific items - surely that means the theives knew exactly what to look for? Smells of inside job. Hope Randy can recover from this setback. Total cards did after they got broken into and lost a crap ton i think it was last year or the year before
