It is absolutely a reddish brown not a true brown. The glosses are closer to a true brown though. Do I love it or nah? I dont know. I think I would have loved it either way but I'm enjoying a different type of brown for now

Totally will. I'd been using the toner under my arms but I think this will work alot better. And the toner already did a bunch of the heavy lifting with most of the hyperpigmentation gone (I havent even been that consistent with it). Cant wait to use a dedicated product, more consistently. Hopefully it doesnt burn cause ewww lol

The intense version can be challenging even thought its really pretty. It's alot thicker and creamier with that tuberose putting in so much work. It also has this really pronounced sesame note that comes through a little savory. The frag is also a tad bit animalic which makes it a squarely night time fragrance. Rouge is lighter and fresher with a lovely ginger note. The orange is great too. The vetiver is also heavier in Rouge making it smokier and sexier in some ways. They are pretty different but both lovely.

I'm also looking at the dior pure or the narcisso rodriguez musc rose. Do I need both if they are so different, or can I get one or the other if very similar? Which do you prefer?

I feel like Pure Poison gets too much hate so I love that I found someone who loves it as much as I do. Its alot more fun, playful, sweeter than Musc Rose. Musc Rose is a cleaner, more everyday floral that comes off understated but really pretty. Theyre both lovely. I reach for Pure Poison for nights out but Musc Rose for professional settings. It depends on the vibe youre looking for.

I thought Senual Vanilla was more like a Cozy Vanilla. I really enjoyed it and have a bunch of fragrances that are super similar like Lattafa Nebras, which is just thicker in texture, but has a similar profile. I thought Supreme gave more after midnight vibes if you know what I mean lolol.

I wouldn't go with Ansaam Gold. I don't think it's a safe blind buy because of how over the top candy sweet it is. It can be challenging when it's hot out and it'll choke you out for hours. If you love super candy sweet though, you might enjoy it. I've reviewed it in one of my perfume tray videos and I have a short and a longer review of the fragrance it's duping PDMs Oriana. I love it but I can't wear that often. It's definitely for specific occasions. So the competition is really between Nebras and Eclaire. Nebras is pretty close to Billie Eilish #1 which is a really lovely thick and creamy vanilla. Really heavy frag with hints of warm spice. It's cozy and warm and comforting. Eclaire is more airy, not as heavy and a bit sweeter. It doesn't have the warm spices in it. It feels more playful and youthful to me. It's also more flirty and works for work, going out and staying home. It's super versatile. Nebras is a fave for me but Eclaire is easier to wear all year round and feels less serious. It's possible that eventually Eclaire will get cheaper once it isn't so new, like Nebras came down in price. Because right now the new releases are so much more expensive than I'm comfortable with. Whats your fave gourmand/vanilla?

@jeanique Wow I didn't expect such a detailed response, thank you! I think I will go with eclaire since I am looking for an everyday fragrance but I will save up for nebras next. This is going to sound really stupid but I LOVE the vanilla candy body mist by the brand "so..?" that I got as a gift but it just doesn't perform very well. It's only 11$ for 150ml but it doesn't even last an hour on my skin and it's cloying when over sprayed. That's why I even got into fragrance in the first place. It started with me searching other vanilla body mists from more reputable brands like b&bw and victoria secret but I soon realised they would also give pretty much the same performance so I have been looking into dozens of fragrances I am interested in for the past week and I have honestly spent hours researching dupes discounts second hand sellers (they are all fakes) etc. I went to a department store to other day to test some designer ones and I was very disappointed with the Burberry goddess everyone has been raving about. Maybe it's just me but I found the sillage to be very intimate and I didn't get the sweet gorgeous vanilla I was looking for. I tried a few others and I really liked the dry down of the YSL libre intense but it was too heavy and sexy to wear as an everyday fragrance for my age. But it lasted 12+ hours and the vanilla was delicious. That being said I found the Dior Hypnotic poison edp at the back of my mother's fragrance drawer the other day and it was barely used so I tried it on and it was love at first smell! I just kept smelling my wrists the entire day and I kept discovering new perspectives. I go back and smell the atomiser a couple of times a day. It isn't exactly what I would call gourmand since it has some floral notes but the powderiness and sweetness of the perfume makes it smell reminiscent of marshmallows and the soft spice just adds to that edible vibe I am hoping to try more fragrances and hopefully find one that I like and won't keep me a broke student for the rest of my academic life!

Libre Intense over Burberry Goddess every single time. Ive talked about how much I love love love Libre Intense, because it is so very lovely. The next time you're sampling at a department store, sample either Black Opium le Parfum or Dior Addict, which both have a closer texture to Nebras than to Eclaire. I'd also recommend Lattafa Haya (pink bottle) if you love a marshmallow, cotton candy, vanilla. It's on my perfume tray this month and it always puts me in a good mood. It's extra sweet but so fun. If you ever run into Roberto Cavalli EDP in a clearance section, GRAB IT, it's an oldie and a cheapie but it's a beautiful powdery vanilla and a longtime fave. Let me know if you ever have questions. I love cherry (lost cherry is THE BEST, and I swear it's super intoxicating when you wear it. Just because you sniff something once in a store is not a "wear test". Wear something for a day or two, THEN decide.
