A bit. Mostly the low-mid tho. I had to still find a way for the instruments to stand out from the vocals after upping the gain on the stripped vocal track and lowering it on the instrumental.

Yeah… yeah. 😅 I think I understand the spirit of what they are trying to sing about often. But they really don’t have the best grammar and sentence structure, haha.

Biblical slavery was not the same idea we consider slavery to be today. It was by and large something you voluntarily signed up for in order to clear debt from your name. Your master would pay off your debt after agreeing to a specific term limit for your slave labor. Moreover, God not only proclaimed fair treatment of “slaves” but mandated release after 7 years so the greedy wealthy of the Israelite camp couldn’t keep someone indefinitely. Moreover the master was commanded by God to provide food, shelter and all necessities for daily life during the “slave’s” term of enslavement. It was more akin to signing a work contract, like what those who sign up for the military do today. Also, God doesn’t need defending.

To cap it all off, God rarely if ever allowed (I cant think of an actual example off of the top of my head of the Israelites being allowed by word of God to take war slaves) the Israelites to take slaves from the nations they conquered.

Why would I care to do so? I don’t understand your reply. Every instance of slavery where someone owned someone else as a piece of property and treated them as such is unbiblical and against the word of God. Full stop. It actually doesn’t matter what a real slave has to say on the matter because they would be wrong.

I am not pretending that Christians haven't been hateful towards gay people while using their "belief" to condone their actions. Nor am I pretending that a large group of people calling themselves Christians are not engaged in bigotry that they'd like legislated as we speak. I am contending that they are wrong to do so, and the large swath of regular Christians and even a lot of pastors/priests/bishops/elders so on in today's world have a more biblically grounded and nuanced view, much like I do. While we believe that, as the Bible says, homosexuality is a sin, the Bible also says, "the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. That includes all sin, INCLUDING but not limited to something as seemingly harmless as a "white-lie". The take away? We are all sinners. We all must be redeemed, and if we are already Christians, seek His forgiveness daily. This means we should never feel as if we are superior to those who are openly engaged in such lifestyles as those spoken about in the video. We shouldn't seek to get into heated conflict with others we know we disagree with either. Here's what I believe, if you're gay, engaging in thievery, lying/deception, sexual promiscuity with the opposite sex, coveting, idolatry, dishonoring of your parents, hatred/unloving, and willfully breaking the Sabbath-day, etc., you are in the same boat. The sin the God hates the most which is recounted in Proverbs 6:16-19 isn't homosexuality, it's actually, "'(those) who sow discord among brethren (brothers/family [can be extended as far as those who are a part of the same organization as well]) If you are caught up in any sin, the only cure is Jesus Christ, believing in His perfect life, His undeserved death, and His resurrection unto eternal life. Taking upon all that unto yourself, and asking God's forgiveness and for the Holy Spirit's presence to be filled within you. It won't stop your lifestyle of sinning immediately, but it will make you aware of it, and that's where God begins a process of working on you step by step until the end of your life where you will be perfected.
