I first heard this record performed by Rikley Puckett on an LP I bought in a charity shop in Edinburgh.
It was called "Riley Puckett Old-Time Greats Volume 2"
Soon I realised that his version can't be found easily online (at least I haven't found it yet...)
However, you can find this tune all over the platforms performed by The Carter Family, although it is much shorter and fast-paced.
Here is my take on that tune!

Here is my rendition of "Black is the Colour" which is believed to be an old Scottish tune that originates from Glasgow. "I go to the Clyde where I mourn and weep" Clyde being the river of Glasgow. However, it may as well just be a version of many! You never know with folk songs ;) This version was inspired by Hamish Imlach's version. Thanks Carlos from The Greasy Whiskers for filming this!
