Barn Owl hunting
Welcome back and I really hope you like this pretty drawing of a Barn Owl hunting. I've used a buff coloured paper to allow the white plumage of the owl to really shine and used both Caran D'Ache luminance pencils for the base layers and then Faber Castell Polychromo pencils for the details. Barn owls are one of my favourite subjects to draw as they appar in early morning and at dusk and so I'm able to take some photos to work from.

Stretching my drawing skills by using coloured paper for this lovely portrait of Long Tailed Tits. I've used Caran D'ache Luminence and Faber Castell Polychromos for this pretty drawing. See the video and the lovely results and the verdict? DEFINATELY using coloured paper again!

Thank you Cathy! Just a spur of the moment idea inspired by watching a bunch of them running through the post-harvested fields and reminding me of their madness in the spring. I had to pop the moon in as it just felt 'right'.
Port Lympne Reserve has a tapir and it is in Scotland although i don't know if this helps

Having never seen a tapir, I think the answer is no. I only draw things I've actually experienced. Interesting mental image though.

Thank you. We see them nearly every day now in the field with our sheep. They walk about searching for insects in the turf. I'll try and get some more footage.
