my brain was mean to me
not everyday goes perfectly smoothly but it's the harder days that make me grateful for the easier days.
This video was filmed in mid march and already so much has changed in my garden and with my life since then so let me know if i should do one of these every month.
And a BIG thank you to to everyone who's joined my patreon in the las few weeks it really is so helpful in making these videos and helps encourage me on days like this one when my brain is being a bit rude (honestly what is her problem???)

Oh my gosh . You are a younger version of me. Loved your attitude 😀❤️
I’m making burlap yarn art and I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a large frame to stretch while I work. I really like yours! How did you make it?
I do hope that you found out that using paste or glue on the back is BAD.
Loved the video How are your rugs cleaned, since you ask not to vaccum them? Is it possible to make a quilt this way?
the chaos is much enjoyed
I'm proud of you! That's an awesome gray! Currently crocheting with a dark gray :) also this video is super fun
Related to a lot of what you talked about- I'm not very artistic but I am very crafty and LOVE making things with yarn. I just make stuff cause I have that compulsion of "I MUST try it" and however it turns out is how it turns out and then it goes in a bag in my house 😄
Que genia 👏👏👏todo eso con punch needle 😲
I love the whipstitch look on the finished rug. What type of yarn do you use?
I loveee this
What yarn do you use when you're making rugs?
I just discovered your channel... I love your vibe so much ❤❤❤
Milo. You’re a beautiful beefy boy. Great stool!!
I love how you edit your videos! Funny thing with the "or maybe birds watch you" part, I have a parrot who watches me and copies the sounds I make, like, if I pick up a glass of water she'll make drinking noises at me 😂
More videos less. It's fun to watch you. I was a graphic design major in college, back in the ice age, but before computers could do much of anything. I was the at the advent of computers. I had an apple se30. Look that up for your entertainment. Your style brings april greiman to mind. Keep going, mix it up, do the things that bring you joy
The importance of the dilly dally ✨
ur sock puppet addition in this vid is so silly, very relatable video why did i also do the same thing w the frozen movies!?! lmao
I love this! Especially how your were able to Overcome your obstacles! Keep Going!
Love your editing!! This is such a great video
I love that you made the rug by hand punch needle..and not the big machine lol ...awesome..alot of work...😮
i really hope you continue posting about your garden! this video was so lovely and i love how your garden looks!
Exxxxxxcellent video. ❤
Im also a gardener i just haven't gotten better about posting & keeping a memory log of my plants outside of my journal. But i love how simplistic your garden is overall. Sure it has some rough edges but that to me is the best part. Carving out our own 'perfect' garden without having to get the most perfect materials. Definetly gonna stick around to see the progress.
Excited for you, I've been wanting to post more about my gardening as well I just don't know much of anything about editing but I appreciate your style. It's better to sow sunflowers directly in the ground btw. (They have a tap root so they'll grow taller if they go directly in the ground) They'll bloom all the same tho if you just transplant them though.
Imagine my shock when I look at this beautifully done video and see 70 views.
I like how you shot and edited this video! It'll be cool seeing how your garden looks! My dad has a smaller one, I hope we don't get another Tomato Incident (we had way too many and had to eat tomatoes everyday for months 😂
I'm an artist too, and it's so easy to judge yourself! I totally relate to comparing myself to artists that have exhibtions and sell their art for so much money, then realizing that I don't want to make my art their way, anyway. It's so important to be kind to yourself 💜 Also, I love the purples of this rug!
this was a fantastic video 10/10
Love your editing stile! Also, it was so weird to hear "There were a lot of gunshots last night" out of the blue. I forget that that's a thing in the US.... So wild
I enjoyed the artistry of this video. thank you
i cannot believe this video has only so many likes ! definitely deserves more <3
this was so cool and i was SHOCKED when i saw this wasnt viral. hello you are so talented??? your editing style is so fun and the topics in this video are really inspirational as an artist and an american student who knows nothing about history. really really cool!!!
who doesn't highlight and annotate their book?! it's your book! i LOVE the yarn colors you chose
Just got this recommendation, I’m so glad I clicked on your video, it’s really cute
i LOVE your editing style omg. the way you use L cuts to still give us info and also show the process is so cool! I love how much of a story you told about the process!!!
this is absolutely incredible!! I can't believe you got an entire rug done in such a short amount of time 🤯 also,, the storytelling in this video.. masterful! your meditations on history were so thought-provoking.. it reminded me of Descartes' apple basket analogy 💌
Nice
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. You are hilarious!
Very helpful complete video thanks :)
Holy shit this was awesome. Fantastic video, amazing rug! I‘m proud of you!
I did latchkey rugs in the 80s! I have so much yarn from knitting and crocheting, 4ftx4ft box. I am watching these videos for different ideas. I have found two that might be unique for tufting. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise.
Please make more videos ❤
Girlllll, this is fucking amazing. OMG
I have a big_ass painting I wanted to hang but the framing and hardware was going to be too heavy for my walls. I bought some rigid foam board insulation from Lowes/Home Depot and adhered it with the adhesive used for finishing rugs. I love it. It's super light weight and it looks awesome.
omg that's such a good idea! Im going to have to try that thank you 😭💞
@@Lmtweet I considered using wall paper paste, but couldn't find any in my area to use as a test.
U moved again!!
and im never moving again lol im not built for it 😅
@@Lmtweet lol I’m moving in a month too. No one is
Girl bye !!!
You’re to hard on yourself!
You are really funny!
I'm so happy I found your RUclips! I've been following you on IG for awhile and your creative journey really inspired me in my own so I just wanted to say thank you 💕 so excited to keep following what you create next!
You're telling me I could have stapled the monk's cloth on the frame and not been fighting with these carpet tack things 😭😭thank you for this I just started my tufting journey this helps so much 💖
