Dreamtale, a Finnish messenger of melodic power metal, was founded in 1999 by songwriter/guitarist Rami Keränen. The band released its first three albums through Spinefarm during 2002-2005, gaining listeners from Finland to Japan. One sign of their success was the single “Powerplay”, a bonus track off the Japanese version of the band's third album, hitting 9th place on Finland's official singles chart.
During 20+ years Dreamtale has been doing live shows in and outside of Finland, e.g. Italy, Russia and even China, and worked with well known artists such as Marko Hietala, Jarkko Ahola and Timo Tolkki. In 2019 the band refreshed its sound with the addition of a second vocalist, Nitte Valo (ex-Battle Beast). 2022 they released their anticipated eighth album.

Loved Nitte Valo in Battle Beast She Has such a powerful voice. I like this song a lot. People are correct it does have a Stradivarious feel to it . Nothing wrong with that.

Lol, half the people here confused AF about the "new" direction of Dreamtale! The band should have added in the description that they wrote this for the Eurovision contest!! That being said, the song has a good idea, but ends up being an incoherent mess. There's no melody in the verses and the growled parts don't fit at all! The only good thing is the chorus with Nitte!

Whatta F is this supposed to be? I know they made this for our UMK contents, but as a long time fan I'm glad they weren't selected to the competition with this crap. The song somewhere deep down sounds quite fine, but the way it's made...
Really good song, but I think I agree with others that it isn’t really a song that seems like dreamtale. Will definitely add this to my playlist tho!
I've been following this great band for over 20 years and I completely understand why they wanted to make a statement with a single like this. The last album was great, but still didn't reach the masses. Whereas Amaranthe broke through 10 years ago with "E-Type" -metal and have since left the genre. Dreamtale can do the same in the old days.

This 'technometal' track starts off like a really bad euro-trash club tune. It's really jarring and off-putting honestly. It tends to get a little better later in the song, but only slightly better. It's also SERIOUSLY SHORT for a DreamTale song. They could have completely reworked this song into another theme and stretched the whole thing out for another couple of minutes and really beefed it up.

too much dance in this song. I like songs like New Life, That what the heavens create, Tides of war, Join the rain, October is mine...but this is too much. this is more like Powerplay and i don't like it, even if the melody can be good

Dreamtale was epic but now with this modern tracks like you are listening music in a night club sounds more like Battle Beast...Dreamtale, they had other epic spirit of power metal very cool with beautiful ballads like World changed forever and powerful songs like Join the rain or Each time i die epic rythms etc now this sounds like a backing track that someone put in the beach im sorry i hope they return again like before i'm still loving you Dreamtale keep pushing. :)
