Opening morning in the central zone of Indiana. Hunting with my brother and GSP Remington on a Public land draw. We knocked down 12 birds in a makeshift hole in the swamps. Indiana experienced a severe drought during the summer and fall making us to search a lot farther for open water to lay out our decoy spread.

    Weed mats for those trees would be a good investment, i got about 75 dunstan chestnuts about 2 foot tall and about another 75 red osier dogwood and 150 persimmons that will be ready to plant this fall! Im about to plant my plots in the next couple days and get in on this rain

    Really like the video! Would suggest you slow down when starting to do the black rope loops. It is difficult to see, and I got lost in what you were doing. Your hands hide what is happening. I think it is great what you are doing and I am not trying to be negative!! Just a suggestion, because I think you are losing people. All the best... keep helping people!!!!!

    Neither of those. I can't believe anyone still uses either of those methods They're so clumsy, slow and loud. 2TC is the way. There's no disassembling packed gear on the ground. I just walk up to the tree, hook up and climb. That takes a minute to hook up, and 3 minutes to get to 25 feet. There's nothing metal, so no unnatural noises. No platform is necessary, and total weight with saddle is about 4 lbs.

    The first year I did it. I tried the same way. The next yr I bought a hand push row planter. And a cultivator the cheapest one on marketplace. I never fertilized or anything. By rowing it and cultivating it only 4 times. It drastically changed the outcome. Now I plant soy and corn with same planter ( it's a honest feeling when you get it planted lol). I did buy a little better cultivator this year still a cheap one from market place but it can do 2 rows in same amount of space. Good luck to you guys.

    When are we going to see a redo. Watch how I S.R.T. with a special stick! Video title is (ONE STICKING). It's different. S.M.A.R.T. Method. Thats Stix Mechanical Advantage Rope Technique. No throw bag, No presets, No kneepads, No slack lines while one sticking, No bending over to grab stick, Its quieter, easier, and safer. No bull! If you like it plz help get the word out Thanks.

    I was your deckhand! Cool content! They're Penn Senator 6/0s. I wish we had "better" reels, but logistically... it not feasible. We fish with over 10,000 customers a year, so the reels get a ton of HARD miles on them. Smaller Senators can't take the miles because of how the gears are built. We upgraded our rods the last few years, but they still get wore out (the black stuff is the graphite from the blank.) Red Snappers: it easier to get 24 Red Snappers than 112. We got to make sure everyone has a nice catch (regardless of species.) Thank you so much for coming. We cannot going fishing without y'all.

    believe it or not, stringers work best. Get a couple of cheap ones with thin line and a thin poker. Hold the frog upside down against something, push it through just behind the lips. Start a new stringer after about 15 big ones otherwise they will start breaking off. Make sure you run the poker back through the metal ring on the first one just like you would on a fish

      @samueljones2495, I’ve got 5 of the OG stealth cams (non cellular). Can’t say I’ve ever liked that brand. Got a few of them as a gift, they are about middle of the road in my opinion on camera brands. Haven’t tried the cell cams, trying to stick with the same brand

      @matthewbowman6584 I actually switched to a 3 pack tethrd one sticks with aiders but I never had much of a noise problem with the muddy pros, just really bulky. I used stealth stripping on the tethrd one sticks to help out with the noise. They seem to be pretty loud straight from the box

  • @bendeleckeiii4229
    @bendeleckeiii4229 8 месяцев назад

    Yea only need 60' max cuz if I have 60' I can go up 55'. You hook a carabiner to one end. Tie Para cord onto carabiner then choke tree limb. No anchor point, no ground scent cuz I get up then pull rope. If u use aider use only on bottom 1 or 2.

    If anyone is switching to saddle hunting.. it's totally awesome, so comfortable, safe and you can shoot 360° it just takes a bit of practice.

    SRT is way better.. NO#1 is because you shave almost half the weight off your climbing gear no#2 not carrying Stix. I use both techniques but srt is ... 60' rope knee ascender, foot ascender and rope wrench. My whole set up went to 7lbs with platform

    Lot of variables here that presents an uneven comparison. This is not a good comparison. Obvious the rope climber is a novice at it. I’d beat the stick guy by a long shot, and I’m twice these guy’s age! But I’ve been rope climbing a year and a half now. I’d use a different method that takes a lot less rope, no devices and moves with more efficiency. So all the sticks climbers poopoo’n the system just don’t know what you don’t know. Also the biggest reason to rope climb is safety up and down the tree and while hanging. Always having a safe way to ground is imperative. I still use sticks on occasion, but always rappel down. Plus my entire rope rig weighs in at 6#, including platform. Add a pound if I need to carry throw ball. It wouldn’t surprise me if Muddy sponsored this vid…😂
