I've seen videos of these cities before and as old as I am I will never understand what possess someone to live or visit one of these places. I think I would rather go to jail than a big city. I can walk out my front door and take a wiz, or shoot a deer, elk, or bear. Everything costs money, you even have to pay to park, wow, really. Nice video but I'll stay in the country and make the forty mile drive to the grocery store two or three times a year.

Went all the way there today from NJ to sit in over an hour of traffic with no place to park only to turn around to leave . Packed and no place to put all the cars coming in. Was looking forward to looking around

Mr. Bloom is a scholar and a gentleman. He is very knowledgeable about the Packer Mansion and the town of Jim Thorpe. My wife and I were lucky enough to tour the historic site with him. If you are in Jim Thorpe you’ve got to check out the Asa Packer mansion!😊

I only stopped by as a tourist since I was only 6 miles away at the time for an event and found the town soooo crowded. So much traffic.
