Awesome! I love the melody and the sound of soft instruments. 👏
He cast a shadow across land so vast On foot an horse on he has passed Across vast seas wind to a sails mast An as many past hope never dashed Not to be surpassed they so clashed
In Berks County. Can't wait to catch this incredible sound!
So sorry. I misread the post and thought it was this year. Hope you come back soon! My bad.
What type of wood used for bending? Plz tell me That tree name
The strip shown being bent is black walnut. Other strips on the table include tiger maple and sycamore.
You are wholesome. Best wishes for the festival! Greetings from Switzerland!
So so so so precious I love you all
neat thanks fellas. howdy from Redding california
No idea why this was recommended, but I do appreciate it.. Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best at the festival.. Greetings from Denmark..
Long way from where I live, but loved the music nevertheless. HOWDY from SE Texas
Beautiful song about wisdom. I also made a song about wisdom it’s called “The Lord gives wisdom.”

Thanks Rob, As I look through new songs in VT hymnal it is always easier for me to learn by hearing them rather than tinkering the melody on the piano. This helps immensely.
Really neat!
Amen!
Lovely!
Great video. Nice job. What is the brand of steam generator?
Thanks. Earlex SS77USSG Steam Generator www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005JRF43M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@blagathor Thank You Rob
Wow! A great version of this contemporary hymn. We sing this in Mass often, and, this is a beautiful presentation
Really Nice! Your video skills match your musical skills! The clawhammer was really good !
I've never heard this song before. It's lovely.
Sing it, cousin!
I like your system thanks for sharing. I am making frame drums and have been laminating but want to bend ash. How thick are your shells ? What sort of woods have you tried ? 🙏❤️🙏
My rim strips were right around 3/16-inch thick by about 3-inches wide. I've used maple (some figured), Black Walnut, and Sycamore. I was able to bend them all successfully with only a couple cracking. The banjo pots are made from three layers of the 3/16-inch strips glued together in a form. In this video I'm bending strips for 12-inch diameter pots.
Hey thanks for the info. I only need 2 inches wide and 1/4" thick for my 10" shells. Maybe I can get it in one strip , two would be fine though. I have been laminating 1.5mm constructional veneers mostly canadian hard maple and a little walnut.
Absolutely beautiful!
Nice Job, do you sell them by chance? sure would love to buy one from ya if ya do sell them?? I am workin on a Custom build and would love to have one of your pots for my banjo.
Thanks. I don't sell the pots at this point. Maybe sometime in the future.
Love it.
This was so beautiful.
Very informative. What thickness of wood are you bending, and how long did you steam it. Thanks.
Sorry... I wasn't following these replies. I used strips around 3/16-inch thick, 3-inches wide. I steamed them for 45 minutes at around 200-degrees F. Also, I soaked the strips in the bathtub over night before steaming. The Black Walnut turned the water black.
For tobbogans.Darn computer!
I went to our local hardwood source yesterday. He said people that use KD ash for ribbons and such, soak the wood before they steam it. I bet green wood steams easily.I tried green birch but it needed steaming,I guess. Your opinion?
I'm no expert at steam bending, but that sounds logical. I would have used air dried if I had the choice, but the kiln dried worked fine for me. Out of 18 bends, I only had one that broke.
That works pretty well.Is that hardwood Kiln Dried before?
Yes, it was locally sourced, kiln dried wood.
I use hose clamps 2 6" hose will work better for You
Yes, great job, but why was the key lowered?
Many High schools tend to use this key since it can be easier for some singers and also if you know NGE you don't wanna hear this song.
Excellent!
Great job kids!
