Bosch SDS Max drill short review
Had this drill about four or five weeks now so just doing a talk on how I've found it so far and what I like/dislike about it.
Thanks again for the support and Bosch for providing me the tool to do the review.

Bosch SDS Max breaking brick and block
Просмотров 4543 года назад
Today's video is short test on how well this new Bosch SDS Max drill breaks down block and brick. For the purpose of the video the block and brick are loose and not held together by mortar or concrete etc so this makes the job easier. This is to simply demonstrate simple drilling & chiselling capabilities of the drill. In the next few weeks I will be able to demonstrate how well the drill does ...

Trying out filming some work from the helmet cam attachment, just a little clip of some concrete block work. Had a bit of a break from filming as I underestimated how much time goes into making these videos but I'm going to try and put the effort in again to do some more filming and create some more content for those who are enjoying what they watch. Please feel free to comment on what aspects ...
How to make a mortar board stand

Here is my tutorial on how I built a mortar board stand out of roof battens, a few screws and bolts. skip to the end to see the dimensions if you would like to try and build one yourself, I will also write them down below in this description, I am not a joiner and I am not claiming to be perfect just gave this a go and I wanted to share how I built it. Building a pike, another plot complete

Come and watch as we build our final part of a new build plot, the pike's or peaks as some bricks call them is the last section of the house the bricklayer builds. Hopefully you like what you see, I've tried getting more footage with me talking, a bit out of my comfort zone but I'm giving it a go anyway. Great video I’m gonna make these up for my squad. I’m 45 and feeling the pain already. Your bracing cuts are 45 degrees. To make this easier for yourself. Just use a handsaw. The handle gives you a 90degree square and then the handle has an angle on it at 45 degrees. That’s the other angle you need. Two 45’s brace that 90. Thanks for the tutorial mate

As a 56 year old bricklayer it is nice to see a fashion for having the boards up high. As a lad I used to watch plasterers and think, why don't we have our boards up higher.

    • @fantasywobble

I used to laugh at the lads for having them. My back has thanked me everyday since using these. Job’s hard enough on the body as it is pal.

@@fantasywobble Good for you and for filming this video. As with most things in bricklaying, pier pressure influences so much. I would love to see, before I retire 800mm high boards becoming the norm. We are so far behind the other trades when it comes to moving with the times. You think your back is thanking you now, wait until you are in your fifties, you will be so pleased you changed.

Well done mate, about your corner braces the angle you are bracing is 90 degrees a right angle, so use your speed square to on the 45 degree angle cut the brace to length you require and fit , bisected two 45,s make 90 that is your angle cut and will square the corner to. 👍
