What kind of challenges is next, maybe 3 people only? Hows about random weapons, so before each battle randomly determine what kind of weapon you use on each person.
Interesting ideas. Plan was for a Grenades-only. But haven't managed to find the time for it.
@@LuckyLenghe I think that would be even harder than missiles only. Isn’t AP to use a grenade? Only 4 shots and they’re heavier than missiles. Bad RNG could end a lot of battles if you just completely run out of ammo. On the plus side you could use a shield in both hands if you take the weight.

Tried a missile-only proof-of-concept. It's really boring. Might upload edited videos with only the interesting bits.
@@LuckyLenghe I can see how it would be boring. You don't get many flashy skills that work with missiles until you get salvo 3/4 of the way through the game. Until then it's the smash skills, skill +x, pilot damage and panic shot. You might get lucky and fire 2 missiles, but mostly it'll be 1. Then the pain of limited ammo and minimum range. On bigger maps you'd likely want someone with a 6 pr 8 slot BP to hold a lot of reloads.
@@jeroti187 The biggest issue is that every map essentially boils down to dealing with the initial aggressive enemies only. All the other enemies just stand there and ignore missiles being lobbed in their face because the AI only responds to proximity, not getting attacked. It's super weird because activating enemy groups by just attacking them with a token missile and pulling them towards you , works so well in FM4 and FM5.

I was expecting Ryogo to immediately get confused again when you commented about him not being confused anymore.
Would be typical Ryogo behaviour.
The Autopilot is just a feature to not be able to capture the machine or bord it like boss enemies.
Vroom Vroom everyone loves the big engine level. The moving terrain, the narrow pathways, the grenade guys, long missile travel what's not to love.
Absolute favourite.

There are like 3 or more random spawning point locations each time you start the simulator for a tactical aproach change i guess. Every other FM game has fixed spawn points in simulators where you can cycle your pilots placement. Just in case you are wondering you didnt know about a different spawn point location in FM3.

the full combo chain works with copies of its own skill but generally for another it chains only 1.

DCM up 1 seems bad, specially with 5DCM Rather stick to the Enemy DCM down
I just wanted the new skill Acquisition combo bonus
hit or miss seems to have an overall 65% hit rate given the non activations. where as the zooms seems to have an overall 80% hit rate
Sounds about right. So we finally have the answer. Hit or miss is feasible if accuracy is less than around 65%
like if you were rocking both Wude arms on any burst weapon and going with DCM instead of accuracy upgrades would make it worth while
Gotta try out the no accuracy build

Today I learnt: Dbl Assault has absolutely pathetic activation and combo chance.
yeah it's kind of bad, but you were punching for the most of it, so tackle was procing in priority
Its the ICON for a reason. Also my favourite mech in terms of design and specialization (assault type).

Hmm .. didn't consider aim skill. Plan is to revert back to zoom once I get max accuracy upgrades.
eject and arm smash are mostly my main skill for all 😅

No, it was just good rng this time. Plus everytime it's a "hit", the flamethrower damage is insane.
