गाडी चालवण्याचा आंतरराष्ट्रीय परवाना घेतल्या नंतर मी आर टी ओ मधून घरी परतत होतो. दुचाकी होती. या दिवसात चारचाकी नाशिकमध्ये चालवायची असेल तर ट्राफिक जॅमच्या दिव्यातून जावं लागणार हे नक्की. तुम्हीं भले स्वतःला पावसापासून वाचवत असाल पण एका मोठ्या आनंदाला मुकता हे नक्की. आनंद कोणता? पावसात भिजण्याचा. वल्लं होण्याचा. प्रमाण भाषेत त्याला ' ओलं होणं ' म्हणतात. मी माझं बालपण रोखून धरण्यात यशस्वी झालो आहे. मोठं किंवा मोठ्ठ व्हायचं नाही असं ठरवलं की जमतं सगळं. भूर भूर चालू होती म्हणून दुचाकी बाहेर काढली. किंचित भिजलो होतो - पण मजा आली. भिजण्याचा आनंद वेगळा. कोरडं राहिलं की पावसात सुद्धा कोरडं कोरडं वाटतं. तुम्हीं चेक करा स्वतःच्या मनाला. विचारा ' मला काय आवडत...
