Don't Sweat the Technique marks the final studio album by Eric B. & Rakim. Released on June 23, 1992, by MCA Records, it was recorded and produced by Eric B. & Rakim at The Hit Factory in NYC. The album builds on the sounds of Let the Rhythm Hit 'Em, with Rakim sounding more aggressive on Eric's jazzy, soulful production. The album debuted at number 22 on the Billboard on the week of July 11, 1992. It also charted at number 9 on the Top R&B Albums chart. Overall, it was a solid project and a classic in building on the foundation of hiphop. Next rating will be Big Smo, then JID and Chance The Rapper.

A solid album by Eric and Rakim. Although their style may sound outdated, it captures that classic style of hiphop. It's impressive to see how good Rakim's wordplay and flows were in a time where you had little to no inspiration in the genre, as it barely even existed.
