For those wondering why it looks like this is about two different breeds, it actually is. 1.Japanese Akita 2.American Akita 3.Akita mix of both Japanese and American 4.American Akita 5.Japanese Akita 6.Japanese Akita 7.American Akita puppies 8.Japanese Akita 9.Japanese Akita puppy (looks like it has some American Akita in it’s bloodlines but picture is hard to asses properly.) 10.American Akita puppies 11.Japanese Akita (moku or long coat) 12.Japanese Akita 13.American Akita puppy 14.Japanese Akita (moku or long coat) 15.American Akita puppies 16.Japanese Akita puppy 17.American Akita puppy 18.Japanese Akita puppy 19.Akita mix of both Japanese and American 20.Japanese Akita 21.Japanese Akita 22.American Akita. In most other countries Japanese and American Akita are considered 2 different breeds and cross breeding the 2 is not allowed. At the moment the USA is to my knowledge the only country left that allows cross breeding.
