I am so glad I grew up in the 60's and in the 70's as a teen to adult. at at 76. I went right to work in a local theatre. I had been been playing for about 4 or 5 years already and was getting there. Being around all of these shows and seeing up close certainly helped. They started pumping rock concerts into the theatre. They were wanting to buy new seats and put carpet in so they just let it rip for several years. Our arena opened in 77. In the theatre alone. I had seen it all. ACDC with Bon Scott, met Angus, he came right up to me and talked to me. I propped some doors open for him so he could get to the balcony wanted to play up there and he did. Priest, UFA Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, and the list just goes on. I have worked with all of them. UFO, that was a blast. Skynyrd played out arena in 77 a few months before the crash.

When I was in grade 9 at Bloor Collegiate in Toronto Rik Emmett was in grade 12 or 13. He was chums with my cousin and was the quietest, most unassuming guy you'd want to meet. He played a lot of classical guitar at the time.

We had these guys play at our high school and as part of the school stage staff we had to deal with them. Total idiots who thought they were something else, at the time the drummer was adding little pieces of broken glass to the drums to make them into a glitter ball, and he talked a couple of us into helping. Later they set the curtains on fire. I never liked them.

i was a teen and remember watching at couple US fest on tv. maybe mtv? i was very much into van halen at the time.

I saw and met Rick back in the early nineties when he played in a place called the Graffiti, just outside of Pittsburgh, Pa. When we walked in, he was walking down some steps and he had flowers in his hand that someone must have gave him, and he was very nice and shook my hand. Then he played a very cool show, up close and personal. A memory Ill never forget.

Triumph: One of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time. Every aspect of Triumph is 10 out of 10! They are a North American treasure and should have their own museum!. :)

Ive been showing this concert to friends and work colleagues for a few years now, everyone i show is shocked how great triumph was at this concert and then go on to show it to others. This band was too overlooked and way too underrated in their time.
