Just got one ! out of the box it needed a lot of setup 3/4 crank on the truss, bridge setup and pickup adjustment ! now I have an incredible instrument and I mean "FREAKING INCREDIBLE" for the price $$$$$$$$$$

I know this amp great jazz tone with semi-hollows and jazzboxes. But this guitar sounds surprisingly thin and trebly. Ofcourse its great for distorted tones, but jazz? not really... have to change pickups then

S-100 is a pretty amazing guitar, especially for the money. Never was a fan of SG type guitars, but I was offered one for a trade and now I absolutely love it

I figured the reason they put a magnetic pickup on an acoustic guitar is that the guitar's acoustic sound is shit. A magnetic pickup simulates acoustic sound, unlike a microphonic pickup which captures it, and this guitar's acoustic sound is not something they'd have any interest in.
