Reminds me of a house party I had at my mums house while she was away. This was in 1995. I was around 14/15 and we all lay around stoned out of our minds listening to AWII. There was about 10 of us. Girls as well. It was glorious. My mum is gone for ten years now and listening to AWII reminds me of her. She is in these songs somehow.

I just want to say thank to Aphex twin and who made this compilation. I survived 2 clinical deaths, addiction and worst thing. But since my teenage-hood i’ve been coming back there and calming myself. Now im 22, recovered, enjoying nature and loneliness, focused on my art and i still play this ambient, when it’s hard for me to sleep. No medications helped me like this calming sounds and meditations. Thank you

My boyfriend broke up with me a month ago, and before he broke up with me he was acting very weird and i thought he was cheating and it really took a toll on my mental health in tons of ways.. however 2 days ago we met up to discuss things and that included me bringing a 5 page long letter expressing how i felt during the time he was acting distant and also how he would never tell me why we broke up and would only reply with "i don't know" and "it's personal" when a relationship is pretty personal already. However after he read my 5 page hate mail basically he did admit that he had not cheated on me (it did feel good to hear this) but he had caught feelings for someone else and just didn't tell me and just had me suffer. I resulted in telling him i want him out of my life and to stay away from my friends aswell, and that we are strangers now. (Funny enough after i said that he replied with "if thats what you want" i feel like he doesn't understand how much he truly hurt me.) I felt so lost when i thought he was cheating it was, i couldn't eat, i was stressed, panic attacks, couldn't sleep, nightmares, almost throwing up the list goes on, and all of this just because he couldn't tell me he found someone else. He tried to hide it from me and it made it so much worse, and listen i hate cutting people off from my life but this time it feels like it was the right thing to do, if all he ever brings me is pain. Thanks if someone read this
