That is a big disadvantage of this model, but all resin models are of this type and cannot be opened But it makes up in paint quality, as it is way better than diecast models I do agree with you that it would've been lovely if it was an openable model

I needed to do wet sanding on both the base and the clear coats as the body itself had orange peel when I stripped the paint. Wet sanding with 2000 grit does the job pretty well 👍, but I had to use 1000 here because the finish was really rough. You still can see the slight orange peel on the body

@@grmodelcars did you apply any polish after all those wet sanding?

Yes I did 👍 A heavy cut, light cut and wax to top it off

@@grmodelcars for example i just wet sand it and not apply any polish compound,would its still look good?

You have to apply polish, otherwise the paint would just be hazy and will have a light matte finish, which will not look good

I think what you're talking about is the caliper orientation You can unscrew the car and get the calipers to be oriented in the right position. There is a tab on the brake which slides into a slit on the chassis and the interior tub of the car. I've made a video of changing the wheels on an Inno64 Nissan Skyline GT-R.
