It's amazing, great work . I was searching another tutorial, but decided to watch this one till the end , and this was absolutely worth it .❤
Aw, thank you so much! 🥰 I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Just what I was looking for! Thank you!
You're so welcome! 🥰 Glad it helped!
Thanks so much for watching! 🥰 Here's the link to my project guide. Happy making! www.patreon.com/posts/112621193?
Thanks for checking out this video! 🥰 Here's the link to my original paper clay recipe. Happy crafting! www.patreon.com/posts/98538758?
This was exactly what I needed, ty!
You're so welcome! 🥰 Glad it helped!
The Creative Clay you liked best sadly has nylon fibres in it.
Hmm, interesting 🤔 Their website doesn't mention that. Do you mind sharing where you learned that? Here's their website for reference: www.paperclay.com/creative-paperclay.html I also have a video on my channel about how to make paper clay at home, so if you're looking for a sure-fire sustainable version of the manufactured paper clay, you can use my video/recipe! ☺️
Hey, great video!
Howdy! Thanks so much for the encouragement! 😊
I really love this idea, and got an inspiration for my own project. I don't have cats, but a very flimsy one of those couch-pockets or what ever they are called, where you have this hanging pocket over the arm rest. That thing is constantly falling off, and can't really hold much of anything. So what I was thinking was to create something with this same idea of "over-the-armrest", with a lot of storage space. Thanks for the inspiration! Great video as always!
I'm so glad you got inspiration from this video! 🥰 The project instructions I made for this is a little simplified compared to the video's end project, so make sure to check it out if you want a little guidance to get started! 😊 Thanks so much for watching!!!
Thank you for the level of details and the methodical way you broke down all 3 reviews. I love the 2D theme animation ! The broken pottery repair technique is actually Japanese in origin, called - kintsugi. Just a warning - most of the commercial kits to do that are NOT food safe. I think maybe you could mix food safe silicone adhesive with food safe sparkle added in. (no plastic glitters :) Thanks again and so awesome to see your art + process.
Aww, thanks so much for the comment! 🥰 I'm glad you found this info useful!
I LOVE your idea of making a free craft library for people! Have you made the magical looking stump base yet? I can't wait to see how you did it! I'm wanting to make one & thinking of using a barrel for the base & then using cement to cover it to make the bark.
That's an awesome way of doing it! 🥰 I'm partway through the stump build - I'll probably publish a video about it in the fall. Thanks so much for leaving a comment! 🥰
A is pretty good.
Thanks! :) I'm hoping to update this video with some more things I've learned soon.
We are also cardboard mongers.
Haha as all crafty people should be! 🥰
Does it play
It isn't a functional instrument, no. :) Just a very fun prop!
Well done!
Thank you! 🥰
Yes! Fallout!
Heck yeah! 🥰
Thanks so much for taking a gander! 🥰 In the future, I'm aiming to take my time more with my videos, but this one was a doozy! Have a great rest of your day!
Thanks for taking a gander! The free backpack pattern can be found at www.patreon.com/ubdraws/posts?filters%5Btag%5D=free 🍂🍁
"It was at this point, that I realized just how ludicrously ginormous this was going to end up." Don't you mean LUTE-icrously ginormous?
AHHHH! I love that! 🥰🤣❤️
Omg, that is both hilarious and also amazing/awesome/fantastic 🤩❤🤩
Thanks! 🥰 Glad you enjoy it!
Thanks so much for watching! You can download the pattern for the theorbo's head at the link below. This has been made to print to-scale of the theorbo I made in this video & has instructions to make a normal sized lute, too. 🥰 www.patreon.com/posts/99940899?
Thanks so much for watching! Please be kind when commenting & remember that I can always glow-up this design in the future! There's nothing wrong with making things in collaboration with friends & I'm happy to show the world my process so anyone can improve upon my methods (future me included). Don't forget to drink some water & tune in next time for a video I'm especially proud to be making! 🥰
As the very-soon-to-be recipient of this (tracking says tomorrow!), I have to say that I incredibly appreciate all the work you put into this project, UB. Thank you so much for taking it on, and I'm sure I'm going to love it when it gets here.
Wow! That was faster than I thought it would be 🤣 Thank you so much for the project(s) & I hope you love him!!!
Loved the video 💗 I’m thinking of trying this out too!!
Oh heck yeah! 🥰 I hope you have fun with it if you decide to give it a try!
Great video lady!! 🤩
Thank you!!! 🥰
Thank you SO MUCH for tuning in! I'm super proud of this video & I'm looking forward to playing with more editing styles in future videos. What a kick off to my 25th year on this planet! Have a great day! -UB
Happy birthday!
Thank you! 🥰
Found this channel via RUclips's suggestions, which are usually full of annoying screamers but I have to say, I fell in love with this channel instantly! Great pace, amazing talent and super educational! Now I kinda want to try painting fake leather myself with no prior experience 😂 For the next video, make sure your voice is actually stereo, because now it comes only from the right speaker. Other than that, you got a subscriber!
Thank you so much! 🥰 And thank you for the tech tip about my audio - it may or may not still be wonky for a video or two, but my partner helped me adjust my settings recently, so I should have that fixed in the long-term! Welcome to the channel & thanks again for all your kind thoughts! 🥰
Thank so much for tuning in! I'm playing with a lot of things on the channel - from how I frame my shots, to narration styles, to how I present myself on camera. Thanks so much for bearing with me as I play with my style & find my identity! -UB
Very informative, thank you 😊
Glad it was helpful! 🥰
Ok this is neat. I appreciate the effort that went into the cabinet and props for showing the mistakes! Let me know if you're doing another project, I've got some tools and know-how that may help.
Absolutely will! 🥰 Thanks for leaving a comment!
Cool project! Let me know if you need tools/etc.
Thanks! 🥰 I'll definitely reach out if I have a need 😊
Wouldn’t a glaze of some sort be good to use on clay before painting?
Sorry for the late response, but a glaze could be a fun way to go! I just don't have access to a kiln, so I'll leave that experiment to someone else 🥰
Glad to see this vid. I’ve been conscious about using more environmentally-friendly products for some time, in my fine art, as well as crafting, as I enjoy that activity too. The choices are a bit easier for selecting materials for my art-making. But where crafting is concerned, it gets a lot trickier. I’ve just decided, for instance, after reading about the topic, in order to use up a bunch of regular glitter, to incorporate it into some of the clay I may use. That way, at least the glitter micro-particles, if thrown away at some point, won’t be floating about as freely in our waste streams. Alternatively, I’ve decided to use glitter glue instead of loose glitter on card projects. AND I have purchased a small amount of biodegradable glitter and will use that in the loose form as needed. It’s not quite as sparkly and is more expensive than regular plastic micro glitter, but it does the job just fine. But in thinking about incorporating my regular glitter stash (quite a lot) into polymer clay, that brought up the fact that the polymer clay I may use is plastic too. I do have some paper clay and Crayola Model Magic to use instead. I love Model Magic, but it has a resin in it too, which makes it a kind of plastic and while safe for kids and all, the resin and plasticizer used in it makes it mot very good for the environment. Nothing is an EASY choice, it seems. 🙃So looks like paper clay (as you’re talking about) or REAL clay is the way to go if I want to be the greenest. Thanks!
Glad it's been of help! Hope you have fun with your glitter-ified projects!
So amazing! You did a wonderful job, you're the only one i could find making a video about these costumes but i found some gold quilted curtains and decided to sew these costumes for a friend and I.
Oh man - that's an awesome base for these costumes! Thanks so much for leaving a comment! 🥰
Thanks so much for watching! If you want to make a mimic of your own, these wooden chests can be found at Michael's or Joann's, but you may have to pre-order them online depending on your location. :) Happy making!
Yeah art/craft shows are very hit or miss. Lots of variables contribute to that and I’ve found it takes a bit of trial and error to sift through and find what works for you. Definitely not for everyone. The success of them also depends on what you’re goals of the events are. I can type more but this is good for now haha. Let’s chat more about this topic soon. Could be fun/informational Great video! 🤗 looking forward to more
Thanks so much! 🥰 And sorry for the late reply - I'd love to chat on the topic sometime!
This video ended up being a part A and part B kind of scenario - part A talking about red flags at arts and craft fairs, part B about my reasons for phasing out of these events. I hope to post more artsy RUclips videos soon! Thanks for coming along for the ride. :)
The jars are so beautiful! The texture you create on the mushroom makes it really look realistic! Great work! 🤩
Thanks so much for the kinda words! 🥰
Your video was super helpful! Thank you so much for all the details you shared! I'm a total beginner in this world, so it was great to see their texture, how they look beside one another, and how a coat of paint looks on them! Will def check more of your channel! 😊 And I'm cheering that you get more views, cause when I looked for "ecological alternatives to polyclay", your video came right on top! 🎉
Yay! I'm so glad 😊 With any luck, I'll have some new content soon that'll be helpful in other artistic realms!
Thank you for this amazing comparison! Very helpful for a beginner like me that is currently preparing to get started. 😊 I found your video through searching for alternatives to the plastic based polyemer clay that i wanna avoid from day 1. I wonder how the 3# porcelain clay compares to homemade, cooked cold porcelain that is based on cornstarch, white glue, vinegar/lemon juice and oil/hand lotion. There are other recipes as well. The one you bought seemed alot worse than what i see in videos where people make cold porcelain themselves. People actually make things with fine details with it just fine.
Oh, that's cool! I knew there were recipes to make paper clay at home, but didn't know about cold porcelain. Maybe I'll make videos on the homemade versions sometime! 🥰 I'm so glad this was helpful for you beginning your clay journey!
I'm in a RHPS shadowcast in Colorado and actually will be playing Rocky at our august show! Our cast has white tear away pants, but i love that you added texture to the rocky pants that make them look more "mummy"-ish!
Thanks! 🥰 It's all gauze and ribbon from the dollar store - very simple add-on!
For some time now, I've been preparing to open an etsy shop selling polymer clay/shrinky earrings but always have a concern over how I'm using plastic base materials and how it impacts the environment and thought of maybe using other types of clay. Thank you for this video! I found this very helpful.
I'm so glad it helped! 🥰 Best of luck in starting your shop!
They look great! Thanks for sharing your process (and thanks for the 1000xp)!!
Of course! Thanks for the kind words! 😊
Love it!
Thanks so much! 🥰
Please be kind on this one! I struggled quite a bit with the green screen on this video and it's a very different kind of video than I'm used to doing. Thanks so much for watching!😊
The lighting in this video was totally weird - an issue I'm fixing in future videos! The next one or two might have the same lighting issues, though. I'm learning to use new equipment 😅 Thanks for watching and I'll see you again next Friday! ❤
It looks BEAUTIFUL. Excellent work, glad I could “be there” 😂
Haha thanks, Duane! 🥰
And you were an AWESOME maid of honor in the pretty dress!
Thanks, Twila! 😍
In the next video could you draw Lynn Loud from The Loud House as a basketball?
I'll add it to my list of suggestions! 🥰 Thanks so much for the comment!
@@ubdraws6323 you’re welcome! 😊
