A PERSONA WHAT IDEA?!?! 😧

The idea i have for a persona story. a foreign exchange student from England is transferred to Japan. She from the airport to the small country town be staying, With her is an old book that she had. On her first day she is getting harassed by by a gang of adults when she is rescued by a girl with black hair named Ami. both girls head to school and Afterwards when they were hanging out the book start glowing and sucks both of them in it. They find themselves in a dark gloomy forest and come across a fairy name Isabel who bumps into Ami. then a pack of wolves appeared along with a stylish dressed man Who resemblance the man who was one of gang members. He traps Ami And tells the walls to finish the main character off. Just as they’re about attack that when her persona appears to her which is a unicorn. With her newfound power she wipes or the Wolves who are shadows clean the way and now is wearing an outfit inspired by Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Isabel says that you are the chosen one only a person who wields a persona could save the land and that’s the beginning of the persona game there is more like the other team made sense that the truth and other things if you want it now just to ask. Well my story is a mixture of fairy tales, Epic quests and Stephen kings it. I want to do is each of the persona team. Most of the characters personas are from Fables and fairytales and classic novels The main character (I usually call her Amelia) is the leader of the group, she is quiet and calm but very knowledgeable and a puzzle solver. Clothing change into the Alice For the similarities to the characters been on the land that is quite different from the world They came from. Her main persona is the unicorn from the last unicorn. The weapon is sword Like key (basally a key Blade) He’s the one who has the book which is the portal between the world and it shows who need help. Ami is the first friend that The main character meets. Tomboy skater girl with black hair with red streak and Always wearing a red Hoodie. She is also half Asian and half Native American from her dad side. She is the first one to be taken by the main threat the boogie man and the main character and the fairy Isabel find her enemy scary torture place where wolves live. She has a big fear of wolfs and she thinks she’s dead with the encouragement of the main character she awakens to her persona which is The Fox spirit, Kitsune. She wears a red Riding Hood inspired outfit with an axe her main weapon. She is definitely the muscle of the group and the one who would speak out the most. Sora is brown headed boy who is the main character meets. He’s kind and playful but when times is needed he can be serious. He is an orphan and very protective of the young kid especially from their mean owner. He ends up being taken by the boogie man and the girls go after him and find him on an Island with masked savage similar to Lord of the flies, The girls find him as A shadow that looks like the orphanage owner is about to hurt him. Sora gets thrown out the cliff right after the main character tells him not to give up and has he fallen he wakes to his persona which is Puck from a Midsummer nights dream. He fly back now dressed like Peter Pan and has a daggers. They start a plan to defeat the shadow and three the piece of land to be a fan and happy place for the people of the other world. Daiki is an awkward and nervous boy with black hair. He is part of the newspaper team in the school which is been overseen by obsessive and bratty girl who bullies all the members especially Daiki. He discovers the group and takes the book but he gets sucked into it by the boogie man and the group have to go and save him. The group find themselves in a attic light place with lots of broken toys and a circus run by insects which a shadow in the shape of the bratty girl is about to through Daiki into fire. Yeah apologise to the group and the main character tells him that he is strong enough to defy mean people. He then breakthrough the strings he was tangled in andawakes his persona Which is the tree monster from a monster calls. He now where’s an outfit similar to Pinocchio and his main weapon is like boxing because him and his dad own a gym and that’s how he learnt his skills. Soon Daiki and the team defeat the spider creature and he becomes their info guy. Raiden arrives at the school and everybody knows him for being a The smartest kid in the country, he is also good looking with his short black hair and glasses, Is he is a bit arrogant and an hour all at the beginning but after he finds out about the group and takes the book to his house where are they appearing they see a different side to him. The main character finds out that he had a brother who was dead clever but who passed away and his parents desperately wanting their son back use Raiden as a replacement. So when he is taken by the boogie man to the other world they find him in a large temple like Palace where to worshippers that look similar to Raiden’s parents. They obviously treat there’s late son like a God but With The help of the main character, Raiden reject his parents and their hurtful desire. That’s his persona, Tiamat, The five headed dragon from his love for Dungeons & Dragons. He is dressed up like a sorcery and he is the games navigator. Afterwards, he’s a lot more kinder and does plan out their strategies for their quests. Isabell is The mascot of the game, wearing a green leaf dress and a short pixie cut red hair. Isabell is feisty and no-nonsense but also curious about the real world which she managed to come through and spend time with her new friends and she’s fond of flowers and nature. She starts out helping as a navigator but then she gets kidnapped by the villain who is dressed as a Jester and claims to control the bogeyman. The Jester wanted to see the team for himself birthday manage to free Isabell. The Jester told Isabell about things about her size but the main character says that how important she is to them not when something amazing happens. She suddenly becomes human size wearing a princess dress, her persona appears (I don’t know what her persona could be) and her weapon is a bow. They discovered that she was the princess of the other world but was cursed to be a fairy until then and now she can change sizes and started enjoying life as a human. Ren first appeared on the beach playing her guitar. She is very chilled and a go with the flow personality. She has long hair and prefers to be barefooted even at school. She has a love for music thanks to her grandpa and dreams of being an indie star but a manager is interested in her but wants to change her into a idol act. Ren get taken by the boogie man and the team find their way into the sea mostly thanks to Raiden’s magic. They find Ren in the clutches of a octopus creature. Ren was is about to give up but the main character says not to give up on herself. She then get toss into the water where and she change into a mermaid rocker where her weapon is a guitar (i’m not sure about her persona, I wanted to be something to do with the ocean and the sea) They soon defeat the octopus creature and she is the chilling this person on the team. The last 2 are the twin,Yukio and Sachiko. They are the youngest members and they live in a cake shop with their Nan and their dad. Yukio is a typical eight-year-old boy who love cooking and adventures. Sachiko love animals and also cooking. The main character meet them at the cake shop where they’re worried about their dad who is being overworked by his boss. The brown haired twins are kidnapped by the bogeyman and the team find themselves in an office run by animals. They find the twins but are cornered by A pig wearing office clothes and sport a donkey where the twins recognise their dad. The twins stand up for themselves and their dad which released their persona that they share, sugar plum fairy. They’re now dressed in elf it’s like Hansel and Gretel which look like they’re made out of sweets and chocolate. Yukio’s weapon is a slingshot and Sachiko’s weapon is A lollipop wand. I hope you like my characters, there is more to the story by just wanna talk about the characters first if you still want to hear more about it

Hi! Glad you liked it! To answer your questions, I can't promise anything but I have already done a few sketches for a hypothetical second part, so we'll see if that happens. Boss concepts are on the list, but I might not do any before I round out the full party. I might take comment ideas though! People are very creative here and I've liked a lot of ideas so far.

@SamuelShiina Empress is about femininity and feminine power. The kichisake-Onna is a ghost story all about feminity and killing people. What more do you need?

That's fair. It's probably because I actually did come up with it as a separate project for uni. However, I also think Persona changes A LOT between entries and I think it's a situation where you won't think it fits until it's in front of you.

Well here's some criticism for your criticism. One: it does take place in Japan. Two: the small town IS comprised of locals - the point of the story is that their local life has been upended by elites moving into this new school that didn't live there before. Three: The protagonist design is no more complicated than any of the others. He would be even more simple than he already is when in his uniform too.

I always appreciate any comment engaging with what I've made, but I did actually discuss most of this in the video. All the party members do already have distinct cameras: Protag's is a DSLR, Kai's is a handheld camcorder, Kimiko's is a phone, Momozaru's a disposable camera stolen from holidaymakers. The hero's team also does have a name: the Paranormal Investigations Club. I understand what you mean about the Martian though. A few people have asked me to rename it to Roswell, which I did consider in development, but archetypal stuff is kind of the M.O of the persona series so I'm not personally fussed. Roswell is also just the name of a place so that feels weird to name it, although maybe I could mention that incident in its bio. Finally, I haven't thought too much about music! I'm not able to compose anything myself, but if I was going to choose I'd pick something very 80s to fit with the teen horror vibes. Maybe pop or rock? I am hoping to make a follow up to this video, although I can't promise anything too concrete. At the very least, I'm pretty damn satisfied with its performance considering how little of my existing audience care about stuff other than pokemon.
