Every time I went to subterranean I went too far to the left down the hole to get the echo, so my first time getting that echo was also Saint campaign. It sucks because you fall past it like "oh shit I missed something" and the only way back to it is dying and going through the subterranean karma gate again, and at that point I'm always like "no more exploring, just finish the game". And Saint is the only one who can go back up the hole without 100 spears or suicide.

This is a really beautiful review. I had no idea where you were going cos I got the vibe that you aren't the type of person to make a video on a game you didn't enjoy and I don't really care about a game a random person didn't enjoy but I trusted the process and I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the time I spent watching this. kind of poetic.

I thought Sable was a beautiful experience, though I totally understand that it has little in terms of extrinsic rewards. I played this game around the same time I was going to college, so I related to Sable's quest of trying lot's of different things to try and find what you wanted to do. I feel the game does a great job in bringing you into the world and making you reflect on what future you can have in it (even if you never get to see that future). I thought it was incredible the way the game prompted me to imagine myself building machines out of scrap of ruined space-ships, or traveling around with goodies with my giant beetle companion or making meals from giant bugs as I interact with travelers. The world itself is also beautiful, the desert planet is full of interesting biomes and location (with my favorite being the volcanic area with giant crystals) and the world is full of interesting things to find. It also has many great side quests, with my personal favorite being the one where you track down the legendary fabulist Llhor to get an entertainer badge that prompts you to reflect on why the Gliding is important in the first place... I'm curious though, what mask did you pick for yourself and why?

I love instruments and music but I only got some experience with piano and electric guitar and most bands don’t really include those instruments, I want to learn drums and eventually violin but drums are sick asf and I like to watch and listen to drum lines

Did a 2 seasons of rack, 3 seasons of vibraphones, and 1 season episodes in high school (both football season and 2 years of indoor percussion) 2020-2025. It’s pretty reasonable to feel that way if you’re proficient at your instrument, it really depends on the exercise, show music, and staff. They can heavily impact how you view and work on your part, in front ens we’d have a schedule of things to look over and having a wide range and lots of small chats in between to help/learn made it feel more loose and fun. Also if the show isn’t written with front ensemble in mind it can be frustrating how little they think of us. Side note: The names and categories of percussion is weird. Percussion is all of battery and front ensemble, drum-line is all of battery and front ensemble, battery is snares quads basses flub(maybe a cymbal line depending on from which it draws on, and front is all keyboards, drum set, and auxiliary.The whole drumline vs battery confusion is because of the French, in French battery meant drums and due to their influence we have both but they aren’t equivalent.

It’s understandable quitting. Marching band IS difficult. It’s one of those things you shouldn’t do unless you absolutely love it

I was in marching band last year, a part of the color guard! I quit recently but I think it was nice to watch this video because I felt like I could relate a lot, even though I didn't play an instrument. The hours and workload was crazy, last year wasn't as bad but this year band camp was bumped up to nine hours a day... we're highschoolers... so after a week and a half of band camp I decided to quit. It really hurt me inside and it still hurts now, because I felt like I was leaving the band and my friends (once again guilty because I felt like I had already committed) but in reality my mental and physical health is more important, and nine hours was kind of taking a toll. Plus, we didn't get much time to socialize anyway, and with one hour lunchtime, band camp was definitely more work-oriented. Also, this might be more specific to color guard, but I felt a lot of stress trying to learn the work in such a short time frame, to the point I was a little broken from frustration, and feeling like I wasn't good enough. They also wanted me to learn how to spin a saber, on top of using a flag and rifle. Sure, it was fun while it lasted, performing and everything. I did a whole year, that's enough band for me.

I’m also in the pit, a marimba/cymbal player! I love band, but the practices are definitely the hardest part… I get hives from the sun, so every practice I have to take pills to make sure I don’t get hives, but taking the pills really makes me sleepy. So every rehearsal, I’m just their trying not to doze out. And for the cymbal’s, I only play them for football games, because we don’t have a cymbal line or anything like that. And I can for tell you, your hands will hurt… but it’s all part of the process of becoming a good musician( and because I love crashing 🙂‍↕️)… For my marimba experience, my freshman year was definitely my worst. ( I never learned 4 mallet my entire freshman year and didn’t even do all region! ) I definitely didn’t enjoy band that year. but for my sophomore and junior year I really become a pro at it and began to relate to those who liked band. I love helping other percussionist and I was beginning to enjoy band! I know marching band isn’t for everyone, and I totally understand with the long time commitment band takes! I wish you luck on your drumset life and all that, I suck at drums… 😅

Marching band is hard, and it sucks when someone leaves, but It makes a lot of sense why. I play sax and I love the people in marching band, and music is my entire personality lol. I still think it is very good to play with other people though!!! It helps develop a better ear and it's just fun. You should try it sometime, even if you don't want to do marching band!

band camp was fun for me besides the weather in the summer lol I only had a week though for it also did you ever have drumline practice on the weekdays? Percussion at my school have that on like 1 or 2 week days (and they also have to join the rest of the band on our wednesday practices after school from 5-90)

Yes you should. Just don't try to publish it. I have written fanfiction and thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I've also written my own original stories. Do that as well if you want to be a writer.

Ayo you draw really well and i agree in every step of the way, the thing is that i think that it doesnt matter if you play the trumpet, play volleyball or just study. I think those shows want to tell us that we should give it your all every step of the way and reach your goals no matter which goals are.

there are beginners classes and sports for adults, you just have to find it yourself :( i p sure normal sports groups usually take in beginners, because to them you’re not a beginner but someone who just found your love for their sport! regardless, hope you stick to that trumpet and get super good :3
