My main issue is my touch pads are broken i cant press them and move or look around so my solution was always to use one hand movement but with this new update one hand movement doesnt work at all anymore so i cant move at all anymore or look around its driving me nuts i cant find any fix for it.
Thanks! am using the legacy wands in the video and it fixed it mostly! but, weirdly, the right hand, when pulling the trigger to make a fist it instead plays the gesture that was last used, am I missing something to make it make a fist instead of repeating the last gesture? weirdly the left hand works fine, its just the right hand, I've tested it on multiple different types of avatars but the right hand, and only the right hand is broken, did I miss something?
By default this profile follows advanced template, which implements soft gesture selection. This is how the old advanced vive controls used to behave: you can activate a gesture on the thumbpad, then click trigger, and next time you pull the trigger you'd be activating that gesture instead of fist. There are some ways: the easiest one that comes to mind is to replace trigger pull action from soft gesture select to direct fist gesture. Not sure why it's only one of the hands for you, but you may have ran into an issue of steamvr/gesture lock permanently activating the soft gesture select, which is a bug: feedback.vrchat.com/bug-reports/p/opening-steamvr-dashboard-permanently-enables-soft-gesture-selection-on-htc-vive

thought that was always a thing, tho, doing it by accident is bit easier because full trigger is not needed anymore so just doing a fingerpoint and 1% trigger pull would override trigger to finger point.

Are you still able to rebind lock physbone pose back to grip button like before the update without interfering with the other interact functionalities?
Not really. You can utilise chords to mimic that functionality, but in the end you'll still be able to interact with buttons that way as well. Plus you'd have to do something about the full-pull trigger interact, too. I've posted a request on their canny to granularise this shit, you can updoot it here: feedback.vrchat.com/feature-requests/p/granularize-interact-action-physbones-ui-interact Unfortunately, given their previous track record, it is very unlikely to be implemented. They don't give a fuck about anything until it bites them in the ass hard enough.
unfortunately the bindings arent showing up in the comunity bindings section. cant find it to activate 😢
Seems like it's just flooded with old presets. There is a canny post requesting for a purge so new ones can show up, but given it's VRC we're talking about, most likely won't happen. For the time being just customize the profile yourself.

Check again; they've pushed an update that fixes the grab feature the same way, thus it might have been hidden. I had to update and republish the scheme. Also, the QM one-handed movement is no longer necessary, they have fixed it.
@@s13.archive still not there unfortunately. I watched the video a couple of times making the prefab but it didnt seem to fix the issue with physbones
@@aharp-xr7qm yeah, after a while it appears it's just flooded with old binds they have to clear out. Did you make sure to set click activation threshold to 100% for "interact" action? They've copied this fix in the latest Advanced preset, but fucked up grips in the process somehow; you can try starting anew with it--just make sure to bind "gesture_direct_open_right" to right grip and "gesture_direct_open_left" to left grip.
@@s13.archive i did. Reinstalling my stwamr seemed to work, apparently mine was buged somehow and wansnt saving any new binding modifications
