FYI, the fireaxe is meant to be the soldier’s melee weapon :) In normal rebirth you craft the atone axe as a starter weapon until you can unlock your class fragments and then move to the fireaxe. The purge starts you with the class book already, hence further along. Check the crafting window for the soldier’s ace crafting progression.

you have dlss and FG options why not use them? i use a 4080 and play at 1440p with quality dlss and fg on on all Epic settings and i get btw 80-100 fps, try turning on quality and fg on, otherwise yes things have been looking off a bit with the newr nvidia driver updates but i think its WC that needs to adress it with their game
