@Driftmonk Hello! Nope. I do not get eye strain from this monitor. I'll be honest... I don't even play on the highest brightness because my room is pretty mid lighting.. meaning it's not the brightest room in the house. All my monitors are set on medium brightness. Other than that, I've never had any eye strains with this monitor.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply! I'll be honest with you.. it's been years since i've made this video. If I remember correctly, i don't think there was any configuration required. The game was already set at my ultrawide (3440x1440p) in the menus (graphics settings). If the game UI is someone stretched or something, maybe there's a ultrawide mod for it. Again, it's been a while since i've played this and made this video :p

Also, I've just found this. This COULD be hand y for you.. Again, I'm not sure if I've used this tool/.mod. But this is a FOV tool mod for the game (WFC). Not sure if this works for FOC but might as well give it a shot.

Almost every map in this game has it's iconic moments imo... especially Damavand peak and Metro! Glad to revisit these maps in BF3 PC. But of course, I'll miss the smaller scale with 24 players.

@ALEXSUP3R Yeah, and at the Remaining Hours Left of Battlefield 3 LIVE service, I got the chance to play on Tehran Highway Again, been like 7 yrs since I got in a match on that Map. And you're absolutely right about ALL of the maps having an Impact. Grand Bazaar being great for Chokepoints/Objectives.

Hey hey! Sorry for the late reply. I have NOT done any color calibration yet. NGL, I got too lazy and just wanted to play games immediately as soon as I've setup this monitor... hehe XD. As for the monitor settings, I've just used the basic standard mode. No FPS mode, no sport, RPG, etc. Just standard. Maybe I should do it soon... but ngl I'm already pleased with the stock colors this monitor has provided.. especially with HDR turning on....

Congrats to your purchase as well! Hahahah I bet the difference between both monitors have completely blew your mind. I was shocked as well from both of my 1080p, IPS monitor to this one. The difference is just massive...

What preset do you use?

You can get 80fps on certain games, and you can get 360fps on certain games as well. I have a gaming PC that's capable of reaching from 60-360 FPS depending on what games and settings ill be running at. If YOU can't get 360fps, then that's on you and this monitor is NOT for you.... Plus, I've already purchased then this monitor when it was on sale. Best gaming monitor I've ever used 😎😎😎😎

PLEASE RETURN IT! I really wish I've should've mention this in the video, but I guess all the sudden there's alot of QC issues with Dell/Alienware atm. How do I know? My sister BF also bought the same monitor from me. It got delivered In a complete different box (not the one you see in this vid), and there's a big crack on the screen.. same for smugges and fingerprints. He return it, exchange it, got another monitor, and guess what? SAME ISSUE! he returned it and got a refund. So idk wtf is going on with Alienware. But I would return if I see scratches. But beware that you might get ANOTHER damaged monitor. Unfortunately it's a gamble atm and i got lucky.

@@ALEXSUP3R Good to know. I did not think i was going to have this problem since i bought directly from Dell but it seems that buying from Dell or Amazon wont make a difference in terms of QC. Prob going to order the replacement unit off of Amazon now since i like their customer service alot more.

@@VeNoM____ I should've mentioned that my sister's BF ordered his monitor from Amazon.. lolz. I'm guessing buying from Amazon goes directly to Dell. And honestly, go for Amazon since they do have better CS. If this goes bad, you can get a refund easily. Hopefully the replacement arrives new for you!

​@@ALEXSUP3RGot a replacement unit from Amazon and its much better. A few smudges left from the foam tape but other then that its pretty clean. Packaging was much better too as it came in a big prime box like urs did so i think im going to be keeping this one haha. Thanks for the awesome unboxing vid. Cheers bud 🍻

@d4nith3 Hehe, it's because I have a dual PC setup for gaming and streaming. Gaming pc is obviously for gaming. Streaming PC is for personal use, OBS, recording my gaming pc gameplay, storage for videos, editing, etc etc. Sure.. I technically can do all of this in 1 pc. But streaming/obs takes a toll in peformace big time. You would have to limit your FPS in certain games, and if your game hard crashes, basically your entire stream crashes. After dual pc setup, I'm never coming back to a single pc for streaming. I also have 3 GPU's because it's my collection I had over the years.

@@ALEXSUP3R XQC has 1 pc for gaming/streaming. R9 7950X with 2x32GB 6000Mhz CL.30 and a 4090.

Hello and YES! I absolutely love this monitor and I highly recommend it. Again, as I've said in the video, it's not the brightest monitor out there. But it's great for me because I have a dark room. If you want the brightest OLED, I would look elsewhere. Not sure if MSI MPG is brighter. But again, it's the best gaming monitor I've ever used.

The msi is a bit better plus you get the full bandwidth of hdmi 2.1 unlike the alienware even though it say it has 2.1 but it's 2.0

@@soulhalo7343 Is that true? if so I didn't even know that lel. Plus there are 2 MSI models and one of them you can't even update the firmware.. you have to send it back to MSI in order to get the firmware update. Yea.. I ain't gonna do that XD I was very close on getting the MSi mode. But the one where you can update the monitor yourself, was sold out at the time.

@ALEXSUP3R there's a 360hz like the alienware plus they are allowing updates now on them there may be a way to update it yourself but it's good out the box or get the one you can update

I have both monitors If. U want better colour accuracy and gamut for alien ware if not buy msi all in all try and get the cheapest one

@LeotseilGaming hahaha since you're a console gamer, I would mostly recommend the OLED, 4K, 240HZ monitors. Or even the OLED 4K TV's. Depends on what size you want, etc etc. I was very close to getting a 4K, 240hz. But I've already have a OLED 4K, 120HZ TV. And my desk is not the best size for 32 inch as a primary gaming monitor. 27 inches is perfect for me atm.

@@ALEXSUP3R I was looking at the LG C3 4K TV, but the smallest size is 42 inch. Way too big for my current gaming setup. 27 inches is the perfect size for me as well, but there seems to not be a lot of options when it comes to 27 inch 4K OLED gaming monitors, at least not that are available in my country.

@LeotseilGaming simply 27 inches, 4K OLED monitors doesn't not exist atm. Possibly next year but who knows. Some say it's not worth it due to 4K being too small for 27 inches. Idk if it's gonna happen. Well see tho!

Hello! The card holder (also a screw) is about 2 inches. And extended is nearly 4 inches. I've never even used it.. just sitting on my shelf collection dust hahah

I feel you. I had a feeling this was going to be more arcady at the beginning. Meaning no physical damages being shown, easy arcady shooting gameplay, etc etc. Would be really epic if they added these tho!

There's just no other shooter on the market that has the same feel. I played this game so much last year (over 1400 matches in one year) so it was very strange to suddenly not be able to play it anymore.

I absolutely have NO idea... I'm sure it should work just fine. If the game in in German language, then you can probably change it to English in the game settings.

I don't think there's ever going to be a replacement for 1943. It's just too unique at this point. For me tho, I'm just gonna stick to BF3, BF1, and BF4. Sometimes 2042.. Can't lie 2042 has been improving alot but clearly not the best..

I get you. Feeling the same as well. I know SoT graphics is not for everyone, but I seriously consider giving it a chance. My friends and I roasted the game graphics at first, and then had so much fun.

Nice to see some that are enjoying the game as well. I know it's not the dream pirate game most including myself wanted, but I'm jusy shocked on how 10 years passed and UBISOFT could've brainstorm new ideas or even "copy" features from Sea of Thieves and such. Basically creating a full next gen pirate experience. Hopefully they can add more "pirate" features in the future. But imo, I'm just disappointed. Also, you're right. My expectations we're too high.. it's Ubisoft we are chatting about.. XD.

The game hasn’t changed hands it’s always been developed by a new Phillipines game development studio, been completely mismanaged and has been unable to be cancelled due to an agreement with the Phillipines government.

That, and be able to explore islands, your own ship, etc. And DOCK your own ship... hahaha.

Reports came out a couple months ago they’ll use the assets off this game to remaster black flag
