1996 Buick Park Avenue Belt Replacement
I havent found a very good video to help show the right way to replace the belt on a 96 park avenue. I dont know how many years this relates to because the body style changes in the next year, and the 96 was the only year, i believe, to have the series ll 3800.
Hopefully this can help anyone who may be lost on how to do this simple maintenance task on their car!

2000 dodge ram van 3500, the o2 sensors, throotle position sensor, and a whole tune up was done but it still ran rough at idle. after doing research i learned about a hidden 02 sensor fuse! go change that 15amp fuse and you might just fix your rig!

Part three is vague because i had now video evidence of what ive done, so ill release part 3 extended, as part 4. it shows me doing the other side on the rebuild end of things, since part 1 and 2 address how to remove the parts. Very cool. Ive been putting both the belts off on my "new" 96 Ultra because of the motor mount. I may just change the mount while im in there. Get it over with. Nice to see year specific content that applies to my daily

The body shop didn't do all that, they just removed the door after disconnecting everything inside the door.
I couldnt get to the hinge bolts without removing the fender. And to get to all the fender bolts i needed to take off all that you see here. I was also only 17 at the time, in a dirt shop with regular tools. This was my daily driver and i got it fixed with what i had and its still together and happy to this day

Yes it did, i replaced the 02 sensors and the fuse under the hood. Drove great, passed emmisions. Ended up trading this for a 67 new yorker about a year after this video.

Even though it wasn't a fuel pump. The easiest way to check the fuel pump it is to rent a fuel pressure gauge. There is a schrader valve on the fuel rail on the drivers side under the doghouse . You can't miss it. Screw the tester into the valve. If it's somewhere around 45 psi or higher (but less than maybe 55) then that pump is in spec.

Brody, I’ve got a 1995 …please keep us updated. 229,000 miles and slow to fire up. (Engine does not fire up instantly like it should, always takes a 2-3 tries).
I ended up finding the problem and posted a seperate video, but i had to change the o2 sensor fuse, it was a small 15 i believe, and its in the panel under the hood by the driver wheelwell and the firewall
But also, you might be having symptoms of a bad throttle position sensor

With the age of these vehicles now relays, plenum gasket, fuel pump, if the vehicle has towed alot there might be more issues. But from what ive seen thats the big ones.
I just towed with mine now having steady misfire white smoke @ low speeds but it's not antifreeze and doesn't smell like oil... It's 3.9 dodge an1500

The inner nut shouldn’t be super tight. If the bearings are worn a bit it may only be finger tight. However the outer nut should be jammed up to the spacer very tight. I’m sure there’s torque specs out there somewhere
Dude, i just baught a 89' GMC suburban SLE 1500 4x4 for a grand in south dakota. but metallic blue. was equip with rear AC/heat but that actual equipment is missing for the rear heater box. and since the center console is so huge am gonna mount a custom wood box for my Volcano Vape can chill in their run a inverter and a rewire the dashboard old rear AC switch to send power to the inverter. then i can either have a blutooth radio to run my volcano app from or use my phone to remotely set my vape temps. but wait theirs more. i was gonna run some tubing along the ceiling and have drop down masks for easy vaping on command since the storz and bickels volcano already has a air pump. call my the mystery burb
That sounds like a fun project! Definitely a big truck and easy to work on, i like to keep them mostly stock, but this is America, and uts your rig man! Maybe post a video of it sometime

2:20 That is incorrect. The factory service manual from Chevrolet says to back it off 3/8 turn MAXIMUM. What is most important is that the end play of the hub/Rotor assembly be between 0.001 to 0.010 inch. Just shell out the $110 and ignore these know-it-alls

Hey there, unfortunately i traded the van for this car! And i never had interior lights asside from the dash loghts on mine, and never looked into getting them working. But id would start with the fuse panel under the dash, and see if its a simple blown fuse. If not that, id check the actual lights themselves. If all that checked out, see if the pin in the door jam that would normally engage the lights to come on and see if it has any damage. But if it came down to all that being okay, google is a good resourse. And these ram vans are very similar to the ram trucks at the time. So you may have luck that way!

Im planning on keeping this car, its incredible the technology chrysler had back in 67', and i love to keep these old american icons alive! It originally was painted the chrysler spice gold metallic, and id love to re-paint it with that to show off the class of the era. But i cant deny that im not opposed to slightly modern touches to the vehicle for performance and comfort, like a radio. But otherwise, you gotta love the cars of the 60s, their durability and style is timeless.

GOD morning/ afternoon I have a 1997 dodge ram van 2500 mines is not starting I put 10 dollars gas in use starter fluid it only starts with starter fluid then turns right off thinking if it's my fuel pump

What are your plans for this Dodge Racing Van..??..
More than likely ill be using it for work, its a reliable van that really isnt too comfortable overall. Tough suspension and its a base model so limited seat adjustment and no power locks or windows, also the rear is stripped down to just the metal so maybe one day ill convert it to a conversion camper van thing.
