Like the original Chinese donut, this is also a popular side to have with congee in the morning. The Chinese donuts used for Ja Leung are usually the leftovers from the day before but after it's wrapped in fresh rice noodle, it becomes more sauce-dipping-friendly and still tastes pretty darn good.
