The short documentary film, " A Limbo State" follows the three coloured young men, Stephen, Jean and Trigga, in the township of Ocean View outside of Cape Town, South Africa. Having experienced the apartheid system as kids, they now find themselves struggling in a post apartheid democratic South Africa. They consider themselves artists. However, they are finding it difficult to making it a livelihood and to be accepted by their families and the surroundings in their efforts to make it as artists. The film follows them in their daily lives in the township and busking on the trains and the streets.
