A Proper Engine - my first run for a miniature steam engine
Просмотров 2663 года назад
I've always been interested in miniature steam engines then a while ago I saw a neat little design on youTube by Leslie Proper. ruclips.net/video/QCbsiK79rfI/видео.html A quick email to him and I had a set of plans to build my own. This is the complete engine and it's first run under compressed air. Now to build a little steam boiler to power it!

Emma Hughes playing Bleed at Carfest North 2015. We went to Carfest North and on the Friday I'd thought I'd duck in to see who was playing on the Wigwam stage. Well didn't I strike lucky, this lady was playing and I enjoyed every piece, a few cover versions but her own compositions were the real gems. I then dragged the family back on the Saturday to watch her but the times in the programme wer...

    Hi. Yours is the only video I have found on this topic. I have followed it with difficulty because my English is poor, but I have managed to understand everything except number 53. Where do you get that number to do the division and find the conversion factor? I am in Spain and I work in mm (millimeters). I am a hobbyist, not a professional. Thank you very much.

      Thinking and thinking and doing tests I have found the answer. Anyway thank you very much for your explanation, since I have not found anything in the reference manual

    Thanks, very helpful. I'm completely new to QCAD but figured it should be possible to import and measure things in an image with it, and this video was just what I needed to get started.

    I also use QCAD 3 but when I copy an item and paste it again it is turned to the right with an angle of 2 °. I don´t know what to do as I like the simplicity of this programme. What can I do

    Hi adrian. I am taking a look to your qcad tutorials. I thank you for them. There is not too mucho stuff about this there out. I would like you to speak less timid as i found your voice hard to understand. I am spanish anyway but i know what i mean. And secondly you should get to the point. Speak less, and do the job, fast, but showing clearly where you click the mouse. ..yes, because the people understands as they see but all that waiting time consumes the attention in vain. Thanks.

    Hello Adrian from the snowy hills of new York State! I want to thank you so much for your video, I have watch an hour or of of other videos and got nothing from them. You explain things well. I downloaded qcad yesterday as I will be needed it for my new job. The last CAD I used was KeyCAD back in the 90s. I will be watching the rest of you series, For others who are reading this look no further, Adrian puts what you need in front of you in amounts you can understand. Again Thanks,

      I don't know who you are, But I can instantly tell your a moron. If you can't say something positive to another person. Then take a bar of soap and stick it in your mouth. Your comments are unacceptable.

    Please Sir, Please, speak more clearly. We viewers can only listen to this mumbling sound of yours. Please raise your pitch and tone a bit. Please. It is very very difficult to understand what you are saying.

  • @081908009999
    @081908009999 8 лет назад

    your speech is rather unintelligible... sort of.. shall we say, more of a mumbling than giving descriptions. In all of seriousness really. If one is wanting to speak to other people, speak with a bit higher pitch.

    Hello, thank you for you video i found it very useful. I can only work in metric system, so i cannot understadn when you say "7 mm to the inch", sorry. I have a question which puzzle me. I have to draw a planimetry of a land. I have to decide which scale to adopt, to fit everything onto an A3 paper sheet. I think i should use 1:500 scale. I have a lot of partial measures but i need to find out the whole breadth and length before i can decide what to do next. I cannot find how to set up QCAD, into accepting this scale, or any other scale with this style (like" 1:200 - 1:300 - 1:1000 and so on). Could you help me please? i also have not understood why i cannot see what there is on the model_space, when I'm in Paper_space or Paper_space0. Thank you :D ciao Tiziana
