My feedback: I come from a competitive Titanfall 2 background, so many of my criticisms will be comparing Diesel Knights to Titanfall 2. I apologise if some of these seem inappropriate due to this. I also struggle to articulate my thoughts well, so I apologise again if things sound confusing. 180ing when wall running is funky. Sometimes I can 180 when looking towards the wall I'm on and continue running in the other direction. When I 180 facing away from the wall, I just drop 100% of the time. Combining wall runs feels incredible. When starting a wall run, if my momentum is going behind me and I initiate a wall run, I'm immediately sent forward rather than having my momentum quickly (not instantly) come to a halt, and then start moving forward. The double jump feels mostly smooth, although sometimes when I'm standing still and then start holding forward for my double jump, it propels me too far causing me to slightly panic in adjusting to my new, unexpected position. Additionally, sharply turning (Ex: 90° turn) with the double jump is unreliable as my momentum is too great for me to even remotely turn. For example, when wall-running and attempting to climb a ledge that is above me, on the same wall, it gets annoying attempting to handle my position as when I double jump to try to climb up, I'm just sent flying in the direction I was moving. Gunplay is amazing. Hipfire is satisfying. Sounds are pleasant. Animations are grand. The sensitivity throws me off a little. Because the sensitivity options are integers and not floating numbers, I find it difficult to find my sweet spot. I believe my sweet spot to be between 2 and 3 but I cannot specify it as that is not one of the preset options. Melee could use some magnetisation rather than a large hitbox as it gets difficult to tell if I've hit something sometimes. (This is mostly attributed to me being accustomed to Titanfall 2's melee) While playing the game, the mouse is not locked to the center of the window, meaning when I pause and try to move my mouse around, it's always in a random spot. Ultimately, I love how the game feels at the moment. Despite my negative criticisms of the movement, I truly enjoy it greatly. I am very excited for where this game is going and I'm definitely going to try my best to keep up with development. =)
