Good Stuff guys.
This story is total bullshit she was tricking for opanna and dope for years
Noah was the god father of Radio play by play at Mount Union
My dad LOVED Ken Macha. Great yinzer accent!!
My number for payroll is $125 Million. No money doesn't fix everything but not spending money is the reason we get 1 year, cross your fingers, stop gaps like Rowdy Tellez instead of legit, proven players. Just like the cap limits in every other sport, you don't have to spend all the way to the limit every year, but you have to be willing to if you need to.
This was a great show, loved it all.
Another awesome interview. Started my Pirate fandom in the 80's. Players like KY and the Fort are the reason I have remained a diehard fan through the rough years. Just good guys.
Fort, Brownie, thanks for doing this. It's rough being a Pirates fan sometimes, but these kind of interviews remind us of the players we grew up watching and rooting for. KY is awesome, and Pittsburgh is lucky to have all of you. #letsgobucs
Life is about time and place. I've been a Reds fan for 36 years but I grew up in rural Eastern, OH (Steeler Country) Grew up on Lanny Frattare before I jumped ship.
Great episode, the Point in Johnstown is an incredible place with incredible people, glad I was able to meet Michael at one of the Mill Rats games.
Great episode. Could listen to Steve talk for hours, a true legend. He’s a tried and true embodiment of what a Pittsburgh Pirate is.
A great episode. Brownie that Pedro bomb was a 3 run shot not a slam, but it was my favorite call of all time. August 7, 2010 off Huston Street. Can't believe you were criticized for that. That was real emotion. You and Steve lost your minds and I'll take that every time. Just like when the Fort hit his first, real emotion. Thanks guys.
Great podcast...Very entertaining....Mike is a great story teller.....We were roommates for our 3rd year at Temple Law School and it was a fun ride!
what a shame on the audio quality
Was at an afternoon game once, great seats behind home plate. And Lanny came out to the stands just look around. We shouted hello and he waved… highlight at PNC. Love the guy. Glad he’s doing well.
Grew up in Central PA and listened to Lanny on the radio every night. I would love to hear him call a Pirates game just one more time. Also, agree with Van Slyke portion. At 3 Rivers he was escorted by security past all the kids and told us he doesn't sign autographs. Bonds would sign 10 or so each time.
The Indianapolis Indians were just in Rochester, very few of them had time for the Pirates fans that came to watch. Just like Lanny was saying they would rush by to go wait on the bus and few even did the fake phone call trick. Its always great to hear from Lanny.
Are you from Chester pa? St James
You've got yourself a fine young man there, Dan.
Loved her …
Steven Brault
You're the best Joe!
All rise for the king 👑! Rob King meeting Ali was great to hear, this podcast alone has so many great stories. I personally can't wait until we see Rob King back on hold my cutter.
Love this combo!
Ask John I was the original Rock at Indiana University. Remember Walnut Knolls John.
Just found this podcast as I was looking for baseball podcasts to listen to at work. These are amazing. Love Greg Brown and The Fort. The guests are amazing. Keep up the good work! Look forward to more amazing episodes!❤
A great interview. Great memories watching Bob pitch and the teams of the 80's and 90's. Found it interesting that the starting RF for the Royals in that 1980 world series game was Clint Hurdle. I could listen to these all day.
Outstanding stuff guys. Really enjoyed it.
It would be cool for John to do a full game's color commentary in Pittsburghese.
Really good content here always liked Wehner like him more now, amazing stories
Audio much better on this episode guys. Enjoyed this conversation
THank You
I really want to be excited for this season. Unfortunately mgmt didn't do enough to bolster the rotation. If we can survive the first 75 games maybe we have a chance.
Great show! You couldn't have had a better choice for the first guest
We agree!
This. Has. Got to be the worst recorded audio I’ve ever experienced. Whos YELLINg in the background?
Apologies for the first episode audio the second episode is much better and moving forward there shouldn’t be an issue. Sorry again and thank you for your patience
Let’s Go Bucs!
Spectacular session....three guys we are lucky to have in Pittsburgh
