I am disappointed, annoyed and frustrated with the thousands of ignorant people who allow themselves to be fooled into believing in the so-called double beat theory, primarily presented by Wim Winters. Next to the many written historical sources that do not confirm the theory, I believe that the children are the strongest confirmation that the theory cannot possibly be historically correct. I have gone through hundreds of videos with children, many of which show an impressive level of play! And here - 9 year old Lele, who perform this difficult etude woth crotchet = 104 per minutt, andit is quite close to Czerny’s own MM-number 110. Lele’s performance is very impressive!!
