TW! VENT BLOOD SH SU*CIDE!! Okay so,long story. My whole class (except my three best and only friends,clodagh,Sophie and Sheila) are all bullying me and my friends. There’s these 2 girls that are the worse. Romy and honey. Firstly,Romy has been picking on me since I was 9,and pushes me,kicks me,makes faces at me,mocks me infront of everyone,makes lies about me and honey does the same. I have always stood up for myself and talk back or push them back,but it never works. So now,a few years later,EVERYONE is sick of it. The teachers are now just telling me to ignore it,and my best friends are getting annoyed with me to. I’m the problem now because I’m fighting back,and giving them a reaction. For example,Romy bullies my best friend Sophie to make me angry,so my friends are now telling me to ignore it! I don’t know what the fuck to do,because it’s hard to ignore it when I feel hated and completely lost to the point I choke myself in the school bathrooms to try k*ll myself,I SH since I was 10 and my parents found out and won’t let me near anything sharp and don’t trust me,but I still SH now,with my nails and pencils. I sometimes try make myself faint in the bathroom,so I’ll fall unconscious and hopefully bang my head aganst the floor and D*e.

It was only at about 35 I f...in understood what Einstein meant by "Education is what remains after you forget all you`ve learned in school". Come on, education and knowledge, deeper or scarcer is the same, no? No! To that, I guess Einstein was much younger than me when he fully understood that. It was at about 35 that I understood I only learned three things in school (in all school, which applies for the lousy European suburb where I live, Romania): 1) to obey the authority (good, but not enough); 2) the authority will very rarely - if ever - defend or support you otherwise than by giving you general advice you will lousily fail to apply or enjoy - as such, what remains is... 3) if you ever get bullied by more people at a time, it could help to hit the weakest from them (it worked for me, I was bullied by three guys in school one of which said he practiced karate and after hitting the one who seemed the weakest - after months of humiliation and hitting the walls of my room with my fists until they hurt and finally overcoming my fear (I ve always been a "neurotic guy") - the karate shithead and the other also stepped back. Then I simply went on becoming what you could call a (more) cultured "geek", going to school contests etc., I found my "cosy" place to live until Bachelor studies. If my experience helps in any way, I would be glad. If not, I`ve done my best. All the best!

There should be a freshman class to teach kids how to have empathy so they don't kill each ither. Teach them that bullying is murder because their victims will commit suicide. My friend gets bullied by an asshole in our class who keeps calling him fat. I try standing up for him but then they call me fat, once even poking fun at me being autistic. What made it worse, is a family friend I’ve known for years also joined. They laughed at the fat jokes, and even made a few jokes themselves. And I feel like nothing worked, telling teachers, telling them to stop (normally this would be followed with a joke at my expense) and even threats. (I know it is bad to threaten people, but I felt powerless and said in class “can I just tell (bully name) to hang himself?” And also “kill yourself” with a side of “if you touch (there) book again, I will hit you with it”. Please help because I feel like nothing works, and I feel even worse because my family friend thought I was telling him to kill himself. Just please, give me advice.

I had brain injury before I was born that caused me to develop spastic hemiplegia cerebral palsy on my left side of my body. I also have ADHD and autism. I wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD and autism until much later in my lifetime. I also have anxiety and depression as well. People tend to ask me a lot of questions about my ankle brace I wear on my left foot because they don’t understand why I walk around with it on, but I sometimes don’t mind the questions, I just don’t like it when people try getting my attention just to ask me questions when I’m minding my own business.

Yes, kids can be vicious but that still makes bullying despicable. Also parents of bullying victims have a duty to protect their child and take constructive action to stop it. Bullying is not a rite of passage. It has long term effects emotionally and mentally that can devastate a person's life.

Bullied kids need their self-esteem restored, so put them in some kind of activity where they can build their strengths and shine and therefore build their confidence in themselves in some aspect of themselves (e.g., martial arts, music, technology, whatever it is that combines their interests and passions with their skills). If they’re both busy with something they feel good about or have an interest in and they actually have real confidence in themselves because they have built their skills in that interest, it will be so much easier for them to just genuinely not care what their bullies are saying or doing. They also need their experiences and pain to be validated and they need some perspective to help correct how skewed their perception of themselves has become as a result of the bullying (e.g., “Yeah, a lot of people can be very mean, but that doesn’t make them right.
