Amen! Carnal wisdom can't comprehend the spiritual baptism, which has nothing to do with your physical body or physical water. The baptism which Peter (and especially Paul) talks about is the regeneration, which saves you from sin. This baptism can only be performed by the Holy Spirit. Colossians 2:12 KJV - Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. Romans 6:4 KJV - Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 1 Corinthians 12:13 KJV - For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Yes, we are in 2024. We’re living in modern times but we preaching old-fashioned gospel. Promise is an old days. People made these folks up and that lie has spread all the way to now.

“Spirit baptism doth also now save”, has there ever been a point in history where being immersed in the spirit of God hasn’t saved? It doesn’t make sense to say “now it saves”.

How to tell if you are a Christian? You must begin with a holier than thou attitude. Judge everyone, despite being told not to judge. Hate anyone who is different than you, despite being told to love one another. Make them all sinners and intill guilt and the fear of God into them. Finally, threaten others to believe in your God, otherwise they will not be loved and will rot in hell. What a fabulous understanding of how it all works! There is no love like Christian hate.

Yes. But when Jesus died on the cross for us. Did that open heavens gate? And didn’t the people in Abraham’s bossom also got there by sacrificing animals? 😊

Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. We are not saved by works so if you are referring to baptism for salvation you are incorrect it doesn’t line up with the scriptures. If that’s the case Abraham and the Old Testament apostles wouldn’t be in heaven and the thief on the cross wouldn’t be in heaven. As we know Jesus said truly truly I tell you today you will be with me in paradise. Some may say “well what does the water mean?” Many people take things at face value and not dive into the scriptures. We all know John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. It didn’t say whoever believes in him AND gets baptized will have eternal life. Every scripture referring to water is not about baptism. Baptism means baptism, however when they mention water and being saved it refers to the washing of the Holy spirit and the word. Here is another example to solidify my stance John 4:14 with the Samaritan woman Jesus used water but it does not mean baptism 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” Water is used for being saved (cleansed) and filled with the spirit John 7:38 echoes this 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[a] To button this up if you still believe you need to be baptized to be saved you have to go to every scripture in the Bible that says water and replace it with baptized… it just doesn’t make sense The scripture telling the apostles to go baptize in the name of the father, son, and Holy Spirit is just that, a command. As believers we should all exercise our faith with baptism. If we believe in Christ we should but like I said you are playing with Gods word when every example in the scripture isn’t using baptism as a way to salvation. Anyone who accepts Christ moments before they die and water didn’t hit their body they would be done for
